Minecraft YouTubers Who Destroyed Their Careers S3 Video Script

channel receives a sliver of what it used to. While his content mainly consists of him

rambling in a tesla, or talking about highly controversial topics.

excited. I wanted to meet him. Ever since I saw the the whole video where he unfortunately took

the lives of a couple convicted pedophiles. And he didn't go looking for that. They attacked him

versus I was like a pedophile. People should stop praising him for hiding pedophiles. He didn't

even know he didn't know there was he probably thought they were black.” (00:00:12:08 -

3. Toby found success during the early days of YouTube. As in 2011, his channels exploded

for his vlogs, literal trailers, and let’s play videos. Which eventually introduced him into

creating animated minecraft parodies.

4. This video received over 90 millions views. Followed by multiple others, with similar

view counts.

5. Toby’s content was extremely versatile and even somewhat family friendly. So he was

given multiple opportunities. Whether it was a role on Cartoon Network, or even being

sponsored to speak at game events. Toby could be seen everywhere, only adding more

numbers to his name.

6. But in 2013, he wanted to shift his focus to something new. So he began working on a

game while uploading significantly less to YouTube. When the game was finally released

it was a massive failure, and upon returning to YouTube almost 2 years later. It was clear

his abscence had affected his channels.

7. While struggling to innovate his content, Toby entered a controversy. A woman named

April Eff, stated she was in a relationship with Toby for around 5 years. With most of the

relationship, allegedly consisting of broken promises, cheating, and drug abuse.

8. Apparently, while the two were at a restaurant, his car was towed. And he was coming

down on a high, which only made him more agitated.

9. When they finally returned home, April claimed he let out his frustration in the kitchen.

Where he kicked the stove and punched the pantry door.

10. He would then take out his frustration on April, screaming at her and attempting to kick

her out. When she finally got in her car to leave, Toby would stop her from leaving, and

begin to apologize profusely. Causing her to have a panic attack, where he then drags her

back into the house, and has his way.

11. She also stated another occasion where Toby gave her a shot of vodka. Which was later

revealed to be laced. Even including an alleged screenshot, where Toby can be seen

apologizing. April would end the post by saying she should have gone to the police

sooner, and how the trauma was causing her to contemplate taking her life.

12. On that same day the post was made, another woman came forward. Admitting to similar

experiences. One day later, Amelia Talon, who was often featured in Toby’s videos,

releases her own video, backing up the claims even further.

“I’m here to back up April and the fact that I do not doubt her story at all. What she wrote is

something I could have written, and I’ve witnessed firsthand what he does to other women. He’s

very aggressive sexually. I’ve seen him grope and tear pants off of women in front of me. He’s

Would say one second how he really wants to get to know me. And then another second he

would say, I need space and I need you to leave. He would also try to get me to move in with

him. And there are many occasions in which I found other women that I caught him with and

13. Shortly after, Tara Babcock, who was in a confirmed open relationship with Toby,

released a video with a different story.

“If you did watch Amelia Talent video where she talks about Tobi, I was actually the girl that

she mentioned in the video who introduced them. And one thing to kind of prove that everything

is based on perspective is that she left a lot out in that video. She completely victimized herself,

which is fine. I mean, some shitty should happen to her, but she didn't mention that when I

introduced them. She was married and she went ahead and slept with him the same day of her

own accord and took Molly the same day of her own accord. And the reason that I stopped

talking to her, among many other things in our relationship beforehand as models and as gamers

and as friends, was because on the car ride home, she told me that she something along the lines

of finally knows what love feels like. And to me that was just like, this is fucking crazy.”

14. Throughout the video, Tara talks about her experiences with Toby which were mostly

positive. And focuses on the good moments, while highlighting how a lot was left out in

Amelia’s story, and potentially other stories as well. But she also confirms… some

similarities.

“The only thing I didn't like was his affinity for drugs. He always wanted me to take Molly.

threesomes or whatever and was clearly uncomfortable, and he was kind of being a little pushy

15. Eventually, even one of Toby’s official exes, Jaclyn Glenn, shared her perspective on the

situation.

“One of the things that I heard and one of the reasons why I didn't really like when he would

hang out with April was because I knew that she was one of the people that introduced him to

16. Jaclyn stated that April wasn't an indivdual who opposed drugs, even clearly accusing her

of being someone who got Toby addicted in the first place. She also confirmed he was a

chronic cheater. As while they were dating, he was exposed for being in another

relationship.

17. Despite stating Toby could be pushy if boundaries weren’t made. She overall felt there

were holes in the story. As both of Toby’s accusers, along with others were leaving

information out, that potentially made themselves look bad. Eventually, Amelia’s video

was deleted, April’s post remained public, but so did the videos defending him. The only

response from Toby, was a one minute video denying the claims.

“A person I dated a few years ago has just made some extremely serious false accusations about

me. And I want to be crystal clear, I've never done anything without her consent. I've never tried

to trick her into anything. I read her her Tumblr post, and I was I was shocked and I was hurt.

18. The video was short, but was ultimately received well. With many of his fans defending

him, or even supporting his future content. While he was able to keep the majority of his

audeince. His views were still declining while his passion for content creation had mostly

likely decreased even further.

19. Despite the loyalty of his audiences, the controversies only brought greater problems. As

based on a public record, Toby went from having multiple sponsers to only receiving two

roles shortly after his controversty. And the quality of his content still had not changed.

With many of his videos continuing to lack editing… or even structure.

20. This video where Toby is seen talking about something on the sidewalk, to then

civilization the game, and finally emailing his ex. Is one of many videos where he can be

seen rambling, instead of following his once structured content style. But unlike his other

rambles with no specific meaning… Toby was in fact messaging his ex.

“I sent an email to. Maybe you heard about it to my ex the other day. Like, you know, professing

my love and stuff, like, pitiful ex-boyfriend. And, you know, I thought it was I thought it was

sweet. I didn't think it was, you know, a big deal. And then after I literally get I talk, I'm talking

to Terry Bright and he's like, Oh, did you hear she got married yesterday? I'm like, I didn't even

know. She's like, in a serious thing. Like, I mean, anyway, I don't know. So I guess it's on a

drum. It's on scarcity channel, talking about me being, like, obsessed ex-boyfriend. I mean, she

lives a two minute walk from my house. I don't show up at her house. And I sent an e-mail. I sent

21. Toby was secretly emailing Jaclyn. And according to her, he had been sending unwanted

messages for the past several months.

“My ex, Toby, is not respecting my request to be left alone. And it's it's something that got really

bad a couple of months ago and is now getting bad again. It seems like every time he thinks I'm

emails. And the reason why it's emails is because I have him blocked on text messages, on

22. She also revealed that Toby had left a note on her car, which was parked at her house in a

gated zone. There was also an instance where she saw him pull up to her car while she

was stopped at a red light.

“I am clearly in another relationship, he's not really respecting that. He's not respecting it. And he

did know about it. I know that in his video he said he was unaware, but he was because we have

23. Jaclyn had done her best to keep the issue private for Toby’s sake, but after her husband

had found out. He thought the public should know as Toby kept making unwanted

advances.

“Yeah, I left a note and a flower on my ex's car, which, you know, I mean, we got back together

after that, but it, you know, it didn't work out. And she she's married. I sent her an email the other

day just cause this has been a really hard year for me and her to I mean, it was just, you know, a

forward. And Jaclyn and her husband no longer reported that he was being an issue, but

this only created more problems.

25. His image had already been affected after his first allegations with April, and now he was

basically seen as a confirmed stalker.

26. It was clear the allegations had affected Toby’s personal life. But there were also

consequences for his career.

“No one deserves to be treated unfairly. Have I been a bad boyfriend sometimes? Yeah. Did I

two years I felt like I was stabbed in the back and left to die while the world told me it was my

fault. I almost gave up. But I didn't. And I won't. So give me my show back and my book deal

changing. But he also had another issue. During all of this, he was becoming increasingly

topics. While some of these videos are clickbait, others lack structure, or even sometimes

basic editing. And based on the views he was receiving, it was clear the majority of his

stuck in child entertainer mode. Talking about the highly controversial topic. But more

than anything people were confused as to how his content had shifted so far, from what it

once was.

one point where he had parties every single weekend at his house, and they were like extravagant

parties, like Thursday, Friday, Saturday. And I just remember going to those parties and being

like, Something bad is going to happen here. Something bad will happen. There's just too many

YouTubers, too many people fucked up. I just feel like something bad will happen. And I

remember I used to go there like all the time and like, you know, I had some somebody, some

guys that were on Epic Mealtime that and they were like, oh man, maybe we should stop coming

to the is getting fucked up. And then I remember the last time I went it was like the last straw.

We're like, okay, let's go. Was we went in the backyard and like in the hot tub was like someone

that I recognized from like fine brothers, like teens react. And this is like a party. There's like

drugs around and drinking going around. We walk in and I look in the back, I'm like, Yeah. I'm

like, That's one of the kids from teams react like, We leave now, let's go. That was the last time I

was there. But anyone who's ever been at a Toby Turner party, who's ever gone to any of those,

they've been fucked up. They know they got fucked up. Everyone's been fucked up at those

seen fidgeting nonstop. Whether his movement is a result of his past lifestyle, or just a

part of his personality is unknown.

32. It’s clear his past actions have affected his career. But his remaining audience, or the ones

that remember him, continue to show him support. As they patiently wait for him to

return… to who he once was.
