AMENDMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION
This constitution shall be amended whole or in part whenever the need arises. For
any amendment to the binding on members, it shall have been passed by the votes
of not less than a simple
FINANCIAL ASSISTANT
A deserving member could be assisted by the union as determined by the union as
the situation may be presented which shall be determined by the general house.
Such assistance shall be raised through self-will financial donations.
ISUSU PROGRAMME
This is a programme designed by the house to financially help ourselves. By
engaging on financial contributions helping one to save, and quality to take it from
the ISUSU pause.
PRIVATE INVITATION/THANKSGIVING SERVICE
1. CHILD BIRTH: On the notification of the success. Fully delivered of a
child the union shall visit the child with the pulse of N 10,000.
CHURCHING OF WOMAN
2. When over a member duly invite the union for reception on churching, A
free will donation shall be taken at the venue and the amount realized shall
be presented to the member. Dismiss, the union will give the member the
sum of N10,000, to be presented by delegated members of the union on a
condolence visit at the members residence here in Abuja.
DEATH OF MEMBERS PARENTS
If a financially up to date member loses his or her parent, the union will give
a pulse of N 10,000 to the bereaved member to be presented in a condelcise
visit at the member’s residence here in Abuja
An appropriate levy to take care of the respective welfare events will be duly
prescribed by the house for this purpose
DEATH OF A MEMBERS SPOUSE
On the death of a financially update member spouse a pulse of N50,000 will be
given by delegated member of the union. On a condolence visit at the member
residence.
If both spouse are members of the union. If not a member, a pulse of N20,000 will
be given.
DEATH OF A MEMBER CHILD
In the event of financially up to date members child shall be visited if the union is
duly informed by the welfare officer / appointed members with the sum of
N10,000.
ii. if a member is totally outside Abuja the members shall draft a letter of sympathy
enclosing N10,000 naira only.
D. DEATH OF A MEMBER
On behalf of a financially up to date member, the union will give a purse of
N50,000 to the diseased family. This pulse will be present at the burial ground by
delegated members. a levy of N1,000 will be mandated on every member reception
The sum of N20,000 shall be given to the celebrant the union shall render any
other assistance as may be requested.
B. TRANSFER: A qualified member going on transfer shall be given a send forth
gift, prayers at the church premises or at his/ her residence. He/ she shall be presented
a parting gift of N 10,000 with bible (any version) and should be customized.
i. HOSPITALIZED MEMBER: Any financially up to date member who is
hospitalized shall be visited if the union is duly informed by the members with the
sum of N 10,000
II. If a member is totally outside Abuja the members shall draft a letter of
sympathy enclosing N10, 000 Naira only invitation etc.

A. CHURCH WEDDING/BLESSING OF MARRIAGE
On the receipt of a qualified members wedding invitation, the union shall attend on
mass if it is within FCT and environs, the member will visit him/her residence
when he come back at the appropriate time.
The celebrant shall entertain the union as group during the wedding

issues referred by the indigenes

Special committee
a. When necessary the indigenes may consider and appoint special committee
to perform specific duty for the indigenes

CONDITION FOR INVITATION


Once a member is financially up to date he or she is qualified to invite the
member to any occasion (wedding, naming ceremony , private
a. General meetings
There shall be monthly general meetings to be held 4th Sunday of every
month .the meting shall review the activities of the indigenes in the
previous month discussed and resolved issues for the progress and well
beings of the indigenes
b. Emergency meetings
Emergency meeting shall be summoned when the executive needs
arises
c. Executive meetings: the executive shall have their meetings on the
Saturday proceeding general meeting
d. The meeting shall have the power to make the following conditions
I. The member has stayed with the union for a period not less than 6
months
II. The affected member must have renewed his /her membership with
the union for the current year.
III. Active member and up to 75% in all financial dues
IV. The financial secretary shall brief the house on that

CHAPTER 8
There shall be three types of meetings for the indigenes, namely

FINANCE
The sources of finance for the union shall include but not limited to
the following :
a. Registration fee =N 500.00
b. Monthly dues= N 200.00
c. Sales of indigenes constitional cards= N 500.00
d. Voluntary donations
e. Occational celebrations
CHAPTER 7
WELFARE:
The welfare of members on issues like wedding,
transferring, child birth private invitation, sickness and death
shall be taken care of by the union or the executives on
fulfilling impeachment or sickness.
b. Where however the vacant office has an assistant , the assistant shall act
until a bye election is conducted.
c. The bye election shall be contucted within three(3) months of vacancy
d. All offices elected at the bye election shall hold office for the residue of
term office of their predecessor.
The committee appointment Shall be temporal and elapse on the
completion of her assignmentwith effect from the date of their election and
shall be eligible for reduction for another term of two years and no more.
However the person maybe validly elected into a different office.
e. The out going executive shall hand over office to the new ones immediately
after the election . this shall include rendering the indegines account.

V.2 BYE ELECTION

A bye election shall be held whenever a vacuum is creet in the executive


either a result of transfer of a member, resignation
Election shall be by single,majority and raising of hands
f. The executives shall include atleast two females

CHAPTER 5
5.1 TENURE OF OFFICE
a. the tenure of office of the executive shall be for two (2) calendar
years. However, they shall remain in office until new election is held.
b. Elected offices shall hold office for two years.

All payment vouchers as may be approved by the indigenes or the executives as


the case maybe in the interest of the indigenes
6. The treasurer shall
a. Be the custodian of the funds of the union and maintain relevant records of the
money in his custody
b. pay all monies received by him into the union bank account within two days
received
c. keep records of all expenses as authorized by the union
d. Not spend the union money without approval from the appropriate authority
e. Be required to produce or give account of all money in his care when necessary

CHAPTER 2
1. AIM AND OBJECTIVE
I. To contribute to the spiritual and physical development of the church
II. To promote the spirit of love, unity and progress of members
III. To assist and support the work and needy among the members
IV. To in calcite the spirit of visitation to member on time of joy and
sorrow.
V. To fellowship and praise god together
VI. To in calcite the spirit of evangelism unto members
2.2 MEMBERSHIP
I. Membership shall be open to any unoffending Anambra state
indigene of the church
II. Acceptance of a new member shall be on request and such a

Chapter 1
1.1 Introduction / preamble
We the entire members of Anambra state indiegenes (Ndi
Anambra ) agreed and solemnly resolve to make this constitution
to regulate the activities of the members

Chapter 4
Election of offices
a. Elected offices shall be in office for 2 years at the end of the which the
executive council will resolve for fresh election on the 2 nd Sunday of the
month of _________ march _________in an election year
b. The dissolution shall be done by the incumbent chair man / chair
person of the indigenes through a motion raised from the house and
seconded
c. No officer shall be elected in absentia on election day unless he/she is
absent with congent reasons
d. A nominated member reshares the right to reject nomination with
reasonable excuse.

3.2 OFFICES BY APPOINTMENT


These shall include anditors patrons special committee

3.5 DUTIES OF OFFICES


1. The chairman shall
a. preside over all meetings of the indigenes and shall be responsible for
organizing and controlling the indigenes during such meetings and other
engagement within or outside the church
b. Have the power to take decisions on matters affect the members
c. Upholdsthe constitutional right of all members
d. Sign all members of meeting with the secretary after adoption by the
general home
2. The vice chairman
Shall perform the duties of the chairman in his absence and any other duties
assigned to him by the chairman and the union
3. The secretary shall:
a. Be responsible for taking down and reading of minutes of the indigenes
meeting
b. Maintain an update of the indigenes proceeding and correspondence
and keep custody of the records book and stationaries of the indigenes
c. maintain an up to date member

smooth running of the art genes
4. The Assistant Secretary
Shall perform the duties of the secretary in his absence and any other duties
assigned to him by the secretary
5. Financial Secretary Shall:
a) Keep record of all financial matters of the intiseres
b) Collect and receive all monies meant for the intigence and hard them over to
the treasurer in this 24 hours of receipt after taking proper record of the prepare
and counter sign shall be required to register by paying for the membership card
(N500).
iii. Financial member: Every member is required regularly pay their monthly dues
(N200)
iv. Distant member: A distant member is a member who is being transferred to
another place and who for his love for the union could not accept the privilege of
a sent-forth ceremony. He shall have the privilege of meeting us any time he is in
town.
v. Patron/Patronesses: These shall be eminent members of Anambra State
indigence of the church appointed by the members to advise them.
II. The Auditors.
a. the indesignes shall appoint two of the members as Auditor towards the end of
each tenure of the office to Audit the indesnes account they shall not be
members of the executive
12. The Patron/Patronesses
a. The indisenes shall appoint patron whose duty shall be to advise the union
morally, spiritually and otherwise.
b. They may also help the indegines financially.
c. The Patron shall cease to be the Patron when they or anyone of them fails to
perform the duties.
f. Acknowledge receipt of all money handed over to him
g. Where the condigence deem it necessary to operate bank account the
treasurer shall be a co- signatory of the account.
h. Keep an imprest of N 5,000 to N 10,000 only
The Evangelist Secretary Shall:
a. Be responsible for initiating and planning revival programmed for the spiritual
growth of members of the union.
b. To take charge of prayers and exhortation during meetings and other social
gatherings of the union, identifying and notifying the indigenes of any side
member.
9. The Provost Shall:
a. Maintain discipline and orderliness at the meeting and other social gatherings
b. Be responsible to effect appropriate punishment or fires on offenders.
c. Carry out any other duty assigned by the chairman and the indigenes.
10. P.R.O Shall:
a. Be the image maker of the indigenes
b. Disseminate information about the activities of the indigenes
media/communication.

CHAPTER 3
3.1 OFFICES AND DUTIES EFFECTABLE OFFICES: The effectable office of the union
shall be that of.
a) The Chairman
b) The vice Chairman
c) Secretary
d) Assistant Secretary
e) Financial Secretary
f) Treasurer
g) The Evangelism Secretary
h) Welfare
i) Provost
j) P.R.O
and also appoint other members to do so same as the need arises.
c. In consultation with the executives, plan evangelism ontreaches by the society
to any identified areas with the diocese from time to time
d. Carry out any other funeltion assigned to him by indegenes
8. The Welfare officer
Shall arrange and be responsible for all the unions social gatherings such as
monthly visitation to members condolence visitation, Hospital visitation. End of
you party, Anniversary, refresh
