IN BRATISLAVA
LANGUAGE CENTRE ILL STU
The Centre of Language offers modules/courses for all
those from abroad who are interested in:
▪ working, or who already work and live in Slovakia and
need to communicate in their workplace;
▪ learning to communicate in the Slovak language;
▪ studying in the Slovak language at one of the faculties of
the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava;
▪ completing their knowledge of other technical subjects.

The students who want to study in Slovak language at the


elected faculty of STU are designed:
Module SLOVAK LANGUAGE A (MSLA)
Module INTENSIVE SLOVAK LANGUAGE A1 – B2 (MISL)
(50 hours, level A1 – 175 €; 50 hours, level A2 – 175 €)
(1000 hours 3500 € – winter semester 500 hours, summer
The graduate will acquire four language skills at the required (Basic

ORGANIZATION OF TEACHING
Teaching takes place in the morning, or in the afternoon, a study
group consists of 6 to12 people.
Teachers are specialized in teaching Slovak as a foreign language.
METHODS
Lectures (interpretation of theory), demonstration forms (samples
of interpreted subject matter at concrete examples, samples of
subjects), teamwork (dialogues, situational games), self-study,
individual study.
TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT, TEACHING AIDS
Modern air-conditioned classrooms in the city centre. Work desks,
PC, overhead projectors, screens, VCR, study texts in print, CD,
online, data projector.
FINAL ASSESSMENT - final test (with a success rate above 60%) and
controlled interview.
