reflected version of a 2022 NSTP project. The original initiative faced challenges and fell
short of goals. KALARO strives to overcome these by embracing a holistic approach to
early childhood development, emphasizing play-based learning, and fostering community
engagement. Currently in its initial stages, the project is actively progressing with planning
and groundwork.

Cotta, Lucena City, and Cluster L013 Proponents.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Tangke Youth Ministry, located in Purok Bagong Sinag, Brgy. Cotta, Lucena City,
stands as a light of support and guidance for children and youths of various ages. Rooted
in its religious foundation, this nonprofit organization is committed to creating an
environment that fosters learning and nurtures the capabilities and knowledge of the young
members it serves. Activities range from Bible lessons facilitated by pastors to engaging
crafts and essential feeding programs. The core mission of Tangke Youth Ministry is to
uplift and support the holistic development of children and youths, providing a space where
they can learn, grow, and flourish. Through a blend of spiritual guidance and practical
activities, the organization aims to empower young minds, aligning seamlessly with the
proponents' shared vision.

Building on the existing foundation of Tangke Youth Ministry, the proponents

introduce a collaborative initiative aimed at extending support to a wide range of
individuals in need. This community project places a special focus on young children from
the ministry, with the primary beneficiaries being those aged 6 to 10. The overarching goal
is to create a comprehensive program addressing nutrition, community engagement,
recreation, education, and overall wellness. This community project proposal is a
collaborative effort to make a long-term difference in the lives of young children within
Tangke Youth Ministry and the larger community. The program seeks to be an inspiration
for good change by addressing the key elements of nutrition, community participation,
education, and wellness, establishing an environment in which every kid has the chance to
grow and realize their full potential.

value. We would also apply teaching and learning methods that are applicable and
correspond to their age group. In addition to this we are also aware of the amount of
attention span that children have, in order to keep them on track and engaged we would
also have physical activities or games for every session. This would not only keep them
entertained but also physically active.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The proponents aims to achieve the following:

1. To enhance academic skills and nurture personal growth in 20 children (aged 6-10) from
Tangke Youth Ministry.

2. To make the proponents gain leadership, practical experience, and social responsibility
by planning, implementing, and evaluating while working with children and the
community.
