TOPIC/LESSON: Intro to Conic Sections

Content Standard : The learners demonstrate an understanding of the four conic sections
Performance Standard : The learners shall be able to model situations appropriately and solve problems accurately using conic sections
(circles)
MELCs : Illustrate the different types of conic sections: parabola, ellipse, circle, hyperbola, and degenerate cases, define
circles and determine the standard form equation of a circle
