Blood Bank Management System Android Project
Introduction

surgeries, and critical medical conditions. However, finding a compatible blood donor
at the right time remains a challenge in many parts of the world. To address this issue,
the Blood Bank Management System Android Application aims to bridge the gap
between blood donors and those in need. This project leverages the power of mobile
technology to provide a streamlined and efficient solution for blood donation and
requisition processes. Users can register on the app, view the availability of blood,
donate blood, or request it during emergencies. By incorporating real-time data and
user-friendly features, this system ensures timely access to blood and supports the
healthcare system.
Statement of the Problem
In existing system, if someone needs the blood, then either the person have to go to
the blood bank nearby to him or else have to buy the blood from the hospital but in
case, if both the places don’t have the blood of the required group than finding blood
of that group might be a tough task at the required time. In existing system, wastage
of time is done more and still there will be chances that you won’t get blood at the
required time
Objective of the Project
The primary objective of the Blood Bank Management System Android Application
is to provide a digital platform that facilitates:
Blood Donation: Allowing users to register as blood donors and update their
availability.
Blood Requisition: Enabling users to search for and request blood based on their
location and requirements.
Real-Time Updates: Maintaining an up-to-date database of blood availability and
donor details.
Emergency Broadcasting: Sending broadcast messages to nearby users in urgent
need of specific blood groups.
Hospital Integration: Providing details of nearby hospitals and their blood bank
facilities.
Ease of Access: Offering a user-friendly interface for quick navigation and
operation.
Method of Work (Methodology)
The development of the Blood Bank Management System will follow an Agile
methodology to ensure iterative development and user feedback integration. The
