(SNSP) TECHNICAL GUIDE
SonicWall Network Security Professional Course Description
SonicWall offers an extensive technical training curriculum for network
administrators, security experts and SonicWall partners who need to enhance
their knowledge and maximize their investment in SonicWall products and
security applications.
The SonicWall Network Security Professional (SNSP) course is an expert-level
training and certification program that builds on the enterprise security skills
learned in the SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) course.
The SNSA certification exam is a pre-requisite to take the SNSP
certification exam.
Once you have completed the SonicWall Network Security Professional
course, you are eligible to take the SonicWall Network Security
Professional exam.
Course Overview:
• Two days of instructor-led classroom training — 60 percent hands-on labs
and 40 percent lecture
• Based on the recently released SonicOS 6.5 firmware
NEW! How can you register for the SonicWall Network Security
Professional Course (SNSP)?
To register for a SonicWall instructor-led training course:
1. Go to SonicWall University and log in to your account. Select the
SecureFirst login if you are a SecureFirst partner. If you are not a
SecureFirst partner, select the MySonicWall login. If you do not
have a MySonicWall account, follow the instructions to create one.
2. Go to the Events link and click on ATP Schedules to find a class
that meets your needs.
3. Click on the Course Name link, which will redirect you to the
Agenda and Details page for the specific class.
4. If you would like to enroll in this class, click on the Class
Schedule button.
5. This will take you to the Authorized Training Partner’s website.
6. If a local class is not available, go to the Events link and click on
Authorized Training Partners to find a local training partner.
7. To access the exam in SonicWall University, the Authorized
Training Partner will provide you with activation link to access
the proctored exam.
To access the SNSP certification exam:
1. Log in to your SonicWall University account and click on Activate Your Exam Key on the Home page.
2. The SNSP Exam page requires an activation key to enable the exam.
3. Enter the key provided by your instructor into the Enter Course Key field to activate the exam.
4. If you did not pass the exam, you can purchase an additional attempt test key from Gilmore Global
5. The SNSP exam is a proctored exam. If you take and pass the exam, you will receive an interim certification and within 48
hours you will receive the final notification of your exam status.
6. Because this is a proctored exam, you will be required to take the exam on a single-monitor computer.
Additional resources are not allowed.
