GETTING STARTED

Before adding an asset, review the Definitions section to familarize yourself

with some terms that will facilitate the use of this site.

The home page has shortcuts to the assets most commonly uploaded to the
app.

Select an asset to get started; all asset instructions are included in this pdf.

Definitions
Applied Feature Groups - Feature groups that are applied to an asset.

Brightcove Video - One option to upload a video to the app is to upload it

as a Brightcove video. Brightcove is a video CDN repository. This step allows
you to add the video to the system - later you can organize the order of the
videos.

Feature Group - Users are separated into groups and given customized ac-
cess to different assets. Assigning a feature group to an asset makes the
given asset visible only to those users in the assigned feature group.

Link (External) - This asset allows an image to be added to the app through
a link that has been created by another host/server, ie. Amazon s3. These are
generally links to a corporate microsite (distributor shopping site) or a Brigh-
tools site (such as a link to a user’s sample site). If left blank, they will take
the prospect to a player page. External links can also be truly external, such
as a link to a news article.

Link (image) - This asset is used when you are uploading an image file direct-
ly to the app. If the image is on your computer, you would upload the asset
through this link type. Images have no target URL, so there will be no notifi-
cations or tracking on them. The only reporting available for images can be
found via the social platform they’re shared on. This maximizes users posts
on different platforms by allowing users to post links in facebook comments
or in instagram bio’s, etc.

Link (Internal) - This asset adds links to the corporate back office or a prod-
uct site to the business tools section of the app. To add an Internal Link, con-
tact your verb Client Success Rep.

Tags - Category in the “View All” section of an asset type. Creating a tag cre-
ates a category for an asset. When adding a tag to an asset, you are adding
that asset to that category.

YouTube Video - One option to upload a video to the app is to upload it as

a YouTube video. This step allows you to add the video to the system - later
you can organize the order of the videos.
