Post Doctoral Fellow Under SBI Foundation funded Research Project

Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, Visakhapatnam. The details of the position are given below:

2024.
The candidate is expected to perform these activities:
1. Support on XRD Sample preparation and analysis.
2. Regular Maintenance activities.
3. Quarterly report submission & presentations.

6. Training
7. Additional duties, as per requirement
Ph. D. from recognised institutions with at least four research
Essential Qualification(s) papers in reputed international journal (SCIE/ SCI/ SCOPUS
indexed).
Knowledge in instrumentation and maintenance; Ability to

shortlisted candidates will be published on institute website (www.iipe.ac.in). Mere possession of essential
qualification doesn’t guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit
and as per the requirement of the project. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates not called
for interview.

Terms & Conditions
1. Scrutiny/Selection committee of IIPE Visakhapatnam reserves the right to fix suitable
criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates.
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit and experience of the
available candidates. Short-listed candidates will be notified for interview and decision
of selection committee will be final.
3. The date and time of interview will be informed by email to candidates and hence a
valid email ID should be provided by the candidate in the application.
4. Qualification should be from a recognised University. Mere fulfilling of essential
qualification does not guarantee for interview call or selection.
5. Eligibility and age will be considered as on the last date of application.
6. Candidates should furnish original certificates at the time of interview & joining.
7. The post to be filled up only on purely temporary basis and is co-terminus with the
project.
8. The engagement can be terminated at any time by giving one-month notice on either side.
The recruited staff’s engagement can be terminated forthwith or before expiry of the notice
period by making payment of a sum equivalent to one-month amount. However, recruited
staff will not be permitted to surrender one-month amount in lieu of the period of notice of
unexpired portion thereof and you will be required to serve the full period of notice.
9. The appointment against this post is temporary and the incumbent selected shall have
no claim for terminal benefits / regular appointment under institute or contention of
her/his in any other project.
10. Benefits of provident fund, CCA, TA/DA, Medical benefits etc. are not applicable.
11. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend interview or joining post and candidates should have
make her/his own arrangement for stay for interview/joining.
12. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification and disciplinary action.
13. Selected candidates are required to take insurance to cover medical treatment for self
and accident insurance for self. This insurance cover must be maintained by the
candidates during the entire period of employment under the project, failing which
salary will not be released.
