Quizzes
Course Learning Outcomes Required Output
CLO1. Set up equations given enough 1. Quiz
properties of lines and conics; 2. Major Exam
CLO2. Draw the graph of the given equation of
the line and the equation of the
conic section; and
CLO3. Analyze and trace completely the curve,
given their equations in both rectangular and

Course Policies Grading System
1. Students should observe prompt and regular
attendance in all class sessions. A student is Major Exam – 40%
automatically dropped from the subject when Quizzes – 40%
he/she has been absent for more than 20% of Class Participation – 10%
the required number of hours of the course. Attendance – 10%
2. Students who are absent from quizzes and 100%
major exams due to unavoidable causes must
obtain an excuse slip from the College Dean.
This slip should be presented to the instructor in
order for them to be allowed to take the quiz or
major exam.
3. Students should do all the requirements of
the course and submit as scheduled.
4. Students have to be responsible in updating
the status/grades to their instructors.
