If you were appointed as a manager in your company, you need to manage certain organisational
development change to your department as recommended by the top management. Changes like
new management, workforce reduction, organizational culture, reorganization/restructuring and
acquisition are some of changes that you need address to. You are required to choose one of the
changes above mentioned and analyse the following: -
1. A brief introduction about your company and explain ONE (1) importance of managing change
in your organisation. (8 marks)
2. Explain FIVE (5) challenges of managing the changes that you encounter in your organization.
(10 marks)
3. Analyse FIVE (5) reasons why some your employees resist changes. (10 marks)
4. Identify Lewin's Change Management Model stages i.e., unfreezing, changing, and refreezing
in managing change effectively. (15 marks)

d) References – Prepare a list of all references used in alphabetical order by author. In the body of
the paper cite sources of data and information by placing the author, year (and page when
appropriate) in brackets. Please refer to the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing
format for all the academic works submitted for assessment. Marks shall be in overall allocated
based on students’ efforts, content, ideas, analysis, originality, professionalism.
e) Send your final work to Turnitin with similarity less than 30 percent. DOWNLOAD and SAVE
the Turnitin Report which clearly indicates that the similarity index is below 30% and UPLOAD it
