II. Design Requirements

Refer to NSCP Section 104

a. 104.1 Strength Requirement
Design shall be in accordance with Strength Design, Load and Resistance
Factor Design and Allowable Strength Design methods, as permitted by the
applicable material chapters.

b. 104.2 Serviceability Requirements

Structural systems and members thereof shall be designed to have adequate
stiffness to limit deflections, lateral drifts, vibration, or any other deformations
that adversely affect the intended use and performance of buildings, towers
and other vertical structures. The design shall also consider durability,
resistance to exposure to weather or aggressive environment, crack control,
and other conditions that affect the use and performance of buildings, towers
and other vertical structures.

III. CLASSIFICATION OF STRUCTURES

Refer to NSCP Section 103

Buildings and other structures shall be classified, based on the nature of occupancy,
according to
Table 103-1 shows the purposes of applying wind and earthquake loads in Chapter 2
of NSCP 2015. Each building or other structure shall be assigned to the highest
applicable occupancy categories. Assignment of the same structure to multiple
occupancy categories based on used and the type of loading condition being
evaluated (wind or seismic) shall be permissible.

13. CONCLUSION

In your structural design calculation report, the conclusion section plays a pivotal
role. Summarize the key findings and outcomes of your design process,
emphasizing its success and alignment with the project's objectives. Keep the
conclusion both concise and comprehensive, highlighting how your design meets or
exceeds project requirements and standards. This will ensure that your conclusion
effectively communicates the strength and achievement of your design.

14. RECOMMENDATION

"Include recommendations in your design calculation report. These

recommendations should be suggested improvements based on the analysis and
calculations performed during the design process. Address various aspects of the
design, such as structural integrity, safety, cost-efficiency, and functionality in your
recommendations. Ensure that your recommendations guide the reader towards
enhancing the design's performance, compliance with standards, and overall
quality.
