It is a software that acts as an interface between the user and the computer.

Antivirus software is used to detect and remove malicious programs from the
computer. Some examples of antivirus software are McAfee Virus Scan, Norton

Temporary files take up a large amount of disk space and makes the computer slow
so should be removed to clear space.

It is a long horizontal bar at the bottom of the desktop. It has a start button on the left

section.

1. What do you mean by self management?


Self management is referred to as Self Control. It is the ability to control one's
emotions, thoughts and behaviour in different situations.
2. What is stress?
Stress can be defined as our emotional mental physical and social reaction to any
threat.
Ex:-Stress created by fire alarm to alert you.
3. What are the benefits of stress management.
1.We can complete our task on time.
2. We will be more energetic and eradicate anxiety.
4. Define Eustress.
Eustress provides us energy and motivates us to achieve goals.
5. Define self awareness.
Self awareness means being aware of your personality including your strengths,
weakness, thoughts, beliefs, emotions and motivation.

Self motivation is an internal force that pushes us to achieve our us goals,feel happy
and improve our quality of life.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

1. What is communication?
Communication means exchange of ideas, thoughts, opinion, information,
messages, feeling and emotions. Etc
2. What are the different methods of communication?
1.Verbal communication (by using words)
a. Oral communication( by using spoken words)
b. Written communication( by using written words)
2. Non verbal communication( by using body language, gestures, symbols, sign
languages, signal charts, images, emojis without using words)
3.Visual communication ( by using posters, maps , pictures, presentation)
3. Difference between intrapersonal and interpersonal communication.

Intrapersonal communication: This type of communication is extremely private. It is a


silent conversation with ourselves.

Interpersonal communication: This type of communication is between two


individuals.
4. What are the elements of the communication cycle?
1. Sender : Person who sends a message.
2. Message:- Piece of any information.
3. Encoding:- How sender wishes to communicate ( either verbally or sign
language)
4. Channel:- Medium by which a message is sent to the receiver.
5. Receiver:- Person who receives message.
6. Decoding:- How the receiver translates the message.
7. Feedback:- Response that receiver gives. It completes two way
communication.
5. Define Communication Barrier
It is an obstacle that interrupts the receiver to understand the message that was sent
by sender.
6. What are the two types of barriers?
1. Internal barrier:- It occurs due to poor listening skills, tiredness,
miscommunication, excitement, angriness, disinterest. (state of mind is not
good)
2. External barrier:- It occurs due to noise, poor network, hearing problem,
different time zones, problem in devices. ( state of devices , environment is
not good)
