b. use the preposition in, on, under, and above in a sentence through a set of given pictures;

A. Activty ( Introduction- Engage)


The teacher will show some pictures through power point presentation”. And the pupils
will have to analyze the pictures and answer the following questions.
B. Analaysis ( Explore/ Explain)
1. Identification (low-level Questions)
 What do you think is Prepositiion?
 Give one example of preposition in a sentence.
 Is preposition important to us?
2. Deepening : ( High-Level Questions)
 Why is the preposition important?
 What are the positive outcome in using preposition?
 How do you properly use preposition in making a sentence?
C. Abstraction ( Elaborate)
What is Prepositions?
Prepositions are words that show location or where things, persons or animals are
found.
What does preposition in, on, under and above means and when do we use it?
Ex. Shella put her bag on the table.
 Where did she put her bag?
 On means on the surface of something.
Ex. The tape is in the box.
 Where is the tape?
 In means inside something.
Ex. The fish lives under the water.
 Where do the fish live?
 Under refers to a lower level of a place.
Ex. There are birds above the trees.
 Where are the birds?
 Above refers to a high level of place.

D. Application Activity:
Group Activity:
-The students shall be grouped into 4 in the activity called “Make me a Sentence”.
-Each group will have to analyze a set of given pictures from the canva app and they will
construct a sentence out of the pictures assigned to them.
-Each group shall have one representative to explain their work in front of the class.
-The group that will gets to answer correctly will gain points.
-Total- 25 points

Direction: Identify the correct preposition to complete the sentence.

3. My teacher advised me to stay (under, above) my chair when an earthquake
occurs.
4. Mother ask me to set the plates (on, under) the table.
5. Dogs usually stay (under, above) the table when people are eating.
6. Her friend told her to put her clothes (in, under) the cabinet.
7. My younger sister sat (on, in) the floor.
8. The vendor put the apples (in, under) the basket.
9. We waited (under, on) the shade of the tress.
