Introduction
Poblacion District no. 2 is truly energetic, eager to find a place in the society, and
a distinct element by the force we exert, the power that we assert and the
influence we wield in our community, we are indeed a tremendous power for
good.
What force can we manifest? We have so to speak, the velocity of the wind, the
energy of the sun and the unconquerable spirit of the sea and waves and
fecundity of the good old earth. We are full of fire and promise and not yet a prey
to cynical thought, we possess ideals that will stand the test of society and purity
amidst the presence of political dissensions and turmoil in the society.
Poblacion District no. 2, a barangay of San Jacinto was then a small sleepy
barangay that has nothing to be proud of…. Today its hidden grandeur is finally
given a chance to showcase to other barangay or even in other municipality that
we have this glistening seas and verdant hills….
This barangay is one of the most populous barangays in our Municipality but we
have so much to offer not only for the residence but to everyone. San Jacinto
National High School is one of the most competitive schools not only here in our
island, and not just only in our province but this institution is always conquers the
Bicol Region and raise the flag of SJNHS in the National Level both academics and
sports.
District 2 is truly blessed with many splendid spots….
We can also say that the people of this barangay is very much hospitable, peace-
loving and God-fearing.
Tomorrow it will not shine only but rather it would be progressive enough
competing globally.
Tonight marks the celebration of our annual patronal fiesta in Honor of
__________________________________________________ this is another
victorious event because we have proven again our worth, our creativity,
hospitality and the oneness of the community.
Welcome for this year’s barangay fiesta celebration to begin with let us have now
have the entrance of baby and lady beauties, and the one and only young at heart
together with their charming escort.
FIESTA IS A TIME WHEN RESIDENTS OF A CERTAIN LOCALIRTY ARE
REJOICING FOR THEIR BIG DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED.
IT IS SO IMPRESSIVE TO THINK THAT EVEN THOUGH WE WERE HIT WITH
CATESTROPHIES, AND HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY COVID 19, WE STILL
MANAGED TO BE HERE AS ONE FAMILY UNITED BY STRONG FAITH AND
MUCH LOVE.
AS WE CELEBRATE TONIGHT OF THIS RELIGIOUS FESTIVAL, LET US
CONTINUE TO GIVE THANKS, RESPECT AND GLORY TO OUR PATRON SAINT ,
SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR WHO IS THE CORE OF THIS JOYOUS OCCASION.
