[email protected] Goal: To educate and raise the awareness of Physical Education through sports and physical fitness. In this course, students will be
able to learn the rules of each sport while also demonstrating through play. Scholars will also take a physical fitness test at the end of each
quarter that will include calisthenics exercise such as push ups and sit ups, a cardio workout including jump ropes and a speed test
including the 40 yard dash. Each scholar will need to purchase a PE uniform to wear during classes(Thursday). The uniform will cost $30.
Attached is a form for PE uniforms. Through the semester, the goal is to improve our scholars physical fitness will also educating them
through the process.

Absences and Makeup Work
➔ If you are absent from class, YOU are responsible for getting and making up any missing work

missing work, or make up tests/quizzes

Late Work
➔ Students have 5 days to submit late assignments with a mild penalty. After 5 days, students can
submit late work for a maximum grade of 50%.
● Long-term assignments have a 1 day grace period for late work submitted. After
that, a 10% penalty per day will be assessed.
➔ Extensions will be given to students who contact me before an assignment is due to request
one
