At the end of the lesson, the pupils can:
a. Identify the parts of the plants
b. Appreciate the parts of the plants in our daily life
c. Label the parts of the plants

A. Preliminary Activity

1. Prayer

Class! everybody stands up and let us pray. (Pupil’ s standing up)

2. Greetings

3. Checking Attendance

Okay! Before we start, we have a rules every class!

we will be going to sing the parts of the plants.

PARTS OF THE PLANTS


I. There are different parts of the plants seeds,
root, stem, leaves, flower, fruit. Each part of the
plants has a purpose. Each part does what it needs
to do… do… do…

Seeds grow, roots that get water and minerals from


the soil down in the ground.

The stem supports the plant above…

And seeds that nutrients all around

Photosynthesis is the process that allows each


plant to grow. That’s when the chlorophyll in the
leaves gets energy from the sun

Pollinators like birds and bats and butterfly, bees


and even ants.
That carry pollen from the flower to flower

Fruits is what comes out of a flower


Seeds are found inside the fruit when the seeds get
into the soil.

Today, we are going to learn more about these


parts of the plants.

called label me. I will split you into two groups and
five members each. All you have to do is you need
to go here in front and then after that you need to (Pupil’s cooperating with their team)
cross the line in front of you and when you reach to
the blackboard open the mystery box and take off
all the items and decide which part of the plant each
item belongs to.
