V. RATIONALE

Our school currently lacks its own water source and relies on the Barangay
Water System, resulting in high costs and an inconsistent supply. To address this,
we propose the construction of an elevated water tank, which will provide a
sustainable and readily available source of potable water.
This project will support drinking water needs, sanitation, and the maintenance of
school facilities, including gardens that promote environmental awareness and
student well-being. Having an independent water supply will improve hygiene,
reduce expenses, and create a healthier learning environment.

VI. OBJECTIVES
a) To construct an elevated water tank that will provide a sustainable and
independent water supply for the school.
b) To ensure a readily available source of potable water for students,
teachers, and staff, improving overall health and hygiene.
c) To reduce the school's dependency on the Barangay Water System,
thereby minimizing monthly expenses and ensuring a cost-effective water
supply.

d) To support sanitation and cleanliness within the school premises, including

restrooms, classrooms, and other facilities.

e) To maintain and sustain school gardens, trees, and ornamental plants,

promoting environmental awareness and ecological balance.

f) To strengthen collaboration between the school, parents, and local

government units in addressing essential infrastructure needs for a better
learning environment.

VII. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project involves the drilling of a deep well and the installation of a
water storage tank to provide a reliable and sustainable water supply for the school.
The system will be equipped with a pump, piping, and a distribution system to ensure
accessibility to clean water for drinking, sanitation, and other school needs.
