1. Introduction:-

On 21 Sep. 2024, students from the Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) Department at KIT
College visited Manu Electricals. This visit was an important opportunity for us to learn about the
electrical & electronic manufacturing industry. Our goal was to see how things are made in a real
factory and understand the technologies involved in production.

2. Objectives:-

The main objectives of our visit were:

 To observe the production processes used to make electrical components. We wanted to see
how raw materials are transformed into finished products.
 To learn about the technology and equipment that the company uses. Understanding the
machines and tools is crucial for our education.
 To connect what we learn in class with real-world applications. We wanted to see how our
theoretical knowledge is applied in industry settings.
3. Company Overview:-

Manu Electricals is a well-known company that specializes in making electrical components &
machines. They have a modern facility that uses advanced machines and technology. This helps them
produce high-quality products efficiently. The company has a good reputation in the industry, and
they take pride in their production processes.

5. Visit Summary:-

When we arrived at Manu Electricals, the company representatives welcomed us warmly. They
started with a presentation about the company’s history, the products they manufacture, and their
position in the market. After the briefing, we toured the production floor. During the tour, we saw the
different stages of manufacturing. We learned about the machines used and how the products are
assembled. The representatives also explained the quality control measures in place to ensure safety
and product quality.
6. Key Learning’s and Observations:-

Throughout the visit, we made several important observations:

 We noticed how the layout of the production line is designed to enhance efficiency. The flow
of work is well organized.
 The technology used in the factory was impressive. We saw advanced machines that
automate various tasks in the production process.
 The company places a strong emphasis on safety. We learned about the safety measures that
are implemented to protect workers and maintain a safe working environment.
 It was clear how modern technology is integrated with traditional manufacturing processes,
allowing for improved production methods.

7. Conclusion:-

Overall, the visit to Manu Electricals was a valuable experience for all of us in the E&TC
Department. We gained practical knowledge that enhanced our understanding of the industry. This
experience helped us connect the theoretical concepts we learn in class with how they are applied in
real-world situations. We left with a better understanding of electrical manufacturing and the
technologies that drive it.

We would like to thank the management of Manu Electricals for their warm hospitality during our
visit. We also extend our gratitude to our college authorities for supporting this educational initiative
and making this visit possible.
