INTRODUCTION

FoodNest is an interactive web platform designed to connect food

enthusiasts with a diverse range of culinary options. The platform provides
a user-friendly experience where users can explore various dishes, register
as chefs, and easily order food. FoodNest aims to enhance user
engagement by showcasing high-quality images, chef profiles, and an
extensive menu selection.
Recently, online food delivery through third-party companies has become a
growing industry and caused a "delivery revolution." Nascent technologies,
such as autonomous vehicles have also been used to complete deliveries.
Customers can, depending on the delivery company, choose to pay online or in
person, with cash or card. A flat rate delivery fee is often charged with what the
customer has bought. Sometimes no delivery fees are charged depending upon
the situation. Tips are often customary for food delivery service. Contactless
delivery may also be an option.
Other aspects of food delivery include catering and wholesale food
service deliveries to restaurants, cafeterias, health care facilities, and caterers
by foodservice distributors.

 NEED OF FOOD DELIVERY SYSTEM

In today's fast-paced digital world, there is a growing demand for

convenient, diverse, and interactive food experiences. FoodNest was
conceptualized to meet this demand, fulfilling several needs for
users, chefs, and food service providers alike:
1. Connecting Chefs with Food Enthusiasts: FoodNest offers a
unique platform where chefs, particularly independent or niche
chefs, can showcase their culinary expertise and connect
directly with potential customers. It provides an avenue for
chefs to reach a broader audience and build a following,
especially if they specialize in unique cuisines or home-cooked
meal experiences.
2. Curated Dining Choices: For food enthusiasts, finding and
selecting food that matches personal tastes or dietary
preferences can be challenging. FoodNest simplifies this process
by offering curated menus and visually rich presentations,
allowing users to easily browse and choose from a variety of
dishes that cater to diverse preferences, from vegan to
traditional.

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS

FEASIBILITY STUDY

After identifying the scope of the project, the feasibility study is needed to be
carried out. It is basically keeping the following points in mind.
Building the software for meeting the scope: This software has met the
scope. As there is no data involved in the system, processing on the file, and the
behaviour of this project is already identified and bundled in quantitative
manner. The processing of this software is very simple as it has been designed
in php and it has been well divided into several functions according to the need.
Technically feasible: This software is very much technically feasible. This
software is very much concerned with specifying equipment and the software
will successfully satisfy almost all the admin’s requirements. The technical need
for this system may vary considerably but might include:
a. The facility to produce output in a given time.
b. b. Response time under certain conditions.
c. c. Ability to process data at a particular speed.
Therefore, the basic input/output of data is identified. So, the project can
easily be build up and it will also be technically feasible.
State of Art: The project is very much within the state of art since the project
is a WINDOWS based; it uses very modern and common technique. Beside it
is very much modern and user friendly. It also works as middleware i.e. only in
between the user and the file. So, it is completely a state of art project.
Financially Feasible: The project is very much financially feasible. The
implementation and development cost of this software under the reach of any
society.

FUTURE SCOPE

Extensibility: This software is extendable in ways that its original developers may not
expect. The following principles enhances extensibility like hide data structure, avoid
traversing multiple
Links or methods avoid case statements on object type and distinguish public and
private operations.
Reusability: Reusability is possible as and when require in this application. We can
update it next version. Reusable software reduces design, coding and testing cost by
amortizing effort over several designs. Reducing the amount of code also simplifies
understanding, which increases the likelihood that the code is correct. We follow up
both types of reusability:
Sharing of newly written code within a project and reuse of previously written code on
new projects.
Understand ability: A method is understandable if someone other than the creator of
the method can understand the code (as well as the creator after a time lapse). We use
the method, which small and coherent helps to accomplish this.
Cost-effectiveness: Its cost is under the budget and make within given time period. It is
desirable to aim for a system with a minimum cost subject to the condition that it must
satisfy the entire requirement.
Scope of this document is to put down the requirements, clearly identifying the
information needed by the user, the source of the information and outputs expected
from the system.

CONCLUSION

 With online food delivery system, restaurant an mess menu online can be
set-up and customers can easily get their order at home.

 Also online tracking the order is done easily, it maintain customer's

database and improve food delivery service.

 Overall we have created System in focus of future food delivery system,

this website will helpful to many people.

 Implement some modules for the users feedback, we also provide post
query if user not receive proper food.
