READING AND COMPREHENSION
Task 1: Read the following text about a person’s new job.

I used to work at a small company, and now I've got a new job at a much bigger company.
Let me tell you, it's quite a change.

First of all, my old job was way less stressful than my new one. At my old job, I had a
smaller workload, and I could finish my tasks quickly. It was definitely less demanding.
Now, in my new job, the workload is much heavier. I have more responsibilities, and it can
be overwhelming.

However, when it comes to pay, my new job is much better. I'm earning a higher salary,
which is a big improvement from my old job where the pay was pretty low. So, financially,
things have improved.

Another thing is that at my old job, I had a smaller team but in my new job, the team is
larger, so I'm always meeting more people. It's nice to have a bigger social circle.

In terms of work hours, my old job had a more regular schedule. I used to work from 9 to
5, and it was more consistent than my new job. My new job sometimes requires longer
hours, especially when there are deadlines to meet.

Overall, my new job is more demanding, but it's also more rewarding in terms of salary. I
have a larger social circle, but it comes with a busier schedule. While I miss the simplicity
of my old job, I appreciate the opportunities my new job brings.

Task 2: Complete the following tasks.

1. Underline all of the comparatives used in the text.

2. Where did the person used to work, and where do they work now?
3. How does the person describe the workload in their old job?
4. What is the main difference in terms of pay between their old job and new job?
5. How does the person feel about the size of their team in their new job?
6. What are the differences in work hours between the two jobs?
7. What is the person's overall feelings about their new job compared to their old job?

Task 3: Complete the following task.

to prepare, use the text as a guide.
