Mike: Good morning dear ESSUdyantes! We would like to welcome everyone to our Science and
Mathematics Month Celebration 2023
Carmel: September indeed is the month that our math and science enthusiasts have long been
waiting for.
Mike: I totally agree with you Carmel. Actually from over here, I can sense the excitement of our
science wizards ,young inventors and mathematicians.
Carmel: Wow! What else can I say? Math and science are two fascinating fields that have provided us
with countless wonders and insights about the world we live in.
Mike: Yes and their beauty lies in the fact that they constantly reveal new insights, challenge our
assumptions, and help us better understand the intricate workings of our world.
Carmel: You’ve just had it right!, and that now leads us to this year’s theme WOW! Witnessing
Outstanding Wonders.
Both: Celebrating Innovation, Curiosity, and Nation Building in Science and Mathematics.
Mike: And to give us further insights into the theme and for the rundown of the games and their
mechanics. let us all welcome with a warm round of applause to Ms. Carmela N. Siguan, our SMART
organization (position) , for the opening remarks.
Carmel: Thank you very much Ms. Carmela. That was a very meaningful introduction. Speaking of
meaningful, I realized that Mathematics means so much to us a lot.
Mike: Why do you say so Ms. Deladia?
Carmel: Because, Math not only can teach us how to add love or subtract hate, but it also gives us hope
that every problem has a solution.
Mike: Awww. That’s so deep and meaningful Aya. I Just have a question to make your
day, Why did the physics teacher break up with the Biology teacher?
Carmel: Why?
Mike: Because there was no Chemistry.
Carmel: Hahaha. That really made my day Mike but I think, the next performance will make
everybody’s day even better.
Carmel: We have a long day ahead, and I know that you could no longer wait for our lineup of fun and
exciting activities. So, here we go!
Mike: Now, are you ready everyone?? I said, are you ready?!
Carmel : Now let the games begin! Starting off with the SciMath Quizbee!
Mike: And now, we have come to the moment we’ve all been waiting for…
Both: The Announcement and Awarding of Winners!!!
Carmel: For each competition, three awards will be given: Second Runner Up, First Runner Up,
And Champion.
Mike: Once called, please proceed to the stage to receive your certificate.
Carmel: Well, I believed that’s about everything ladies and gentlemen.
We have finally come to the end of our occasion. With this, help me welcome our very own, Smart
Organization Adviser Mr. Rovinson Gaganao for his closing message.
Mike: Thank you for that inspiring message Sir Rovi. Once again, congratulations to all the winners! Let
us all give them a warm round of applause.
Carmel: Our deepest gratitude to all the organizing members, the SMART organization headed by Mr.
Cydrick Obillo, our participating students, distinguished committees, and most especially to the
contestants of this Year’s Science and Mathematics Month Celebration.
