Hometown
Where do you come from? I come from Hai Duong which is a small province
in the north of Vietnam with the specialty of dau
xanh cake
What is your hometown famous for? My hometown is famous for đậu xanh cake, a type
of cake made from bean flour, sugar and vegetable
oil. In addition, my hometown has a famous place
called Con Son Kiep Bac
Where are you living now? I am living in Hoai Duc district with my friends.
This place is far from the center of Hanoi so life is
more peaceful
How often do you come back your hometown? I often com back my hometown once a month,
because I don't have much free time and my
hometown is 100km far from my school
What are the people in your hometown like? People in my hometown are very friendly and
hospitable. They often help each other in work and
life. I feel very happy when interacting and talking
with them
Would you like to live and work in your After graduation, I want to live and work in the city
hometown after graduation? Why/ Why not? because it is more developed than my hometown
and there are many choices for work.

2. Family
Do you have a large or small family? I have a small family with 3 generations including
my grandparents, my parents and our siblings
How many people are there in your family? My family has 4 people including my parents, my
sister and me. My family is very harmonious and
happy. I am very proud of my family
Who do you love the most in your family? I love my mother the most because she always takes
care of me and my family. Besides, my mother
cooks very well
What does your family often do together? My family often watches TV and talks together in
free time. On long vacations, my family often takes
trips to relax and entertain
Do you live alone or with your family now? Now I am living with my friends. We studied at the
same university and have many beautiful memories
living together

3. Study
What is your major? My major is information systems, which is a small
 branch of the information technology department.
How many subject do you study this semester? This semester I study 4 subjects such as English,
software integration, project management and
software design. Those are my last subjects before
doing my graduation project
What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is software design because I
want to design useful software applications.
However, to be able to create a complete
application, I have to learn many other subjects
How many E lesson do you have a week? I have 2 lessons a week on Monday and Thursday
How much time do you spend on learning E I spend 2 hours studying English every day. I often
everyday? focus on listening and reading to help me improve
my communication skills
What job are you going to do after graduation? I want to be a Software engineer after graduation.
Software engineer is responsible for designing,
running and testing various computer programs and
applications.
What do you think you will be doing in ten 10 years from now I think I will be a hardware
years’ time? engineer. After having enough experience and
finances, I will open a shop to buy, sell and repair
IT equipment

4. Leisure time
What do you like doing in your free time? I often play soccer with my friends in my free time.
It helps me relax and exercise. Besides, it also helps
me bond with friends
Do you prefer going out or staying at home at On weekends, I like to go out with friends. That's
weekends? the time we get to rest after a week of studying and
working
What kinds of music/ sport do you enjoy most? Of the sports I like football the most because it
helps me exercise
