International Competitive Bidding
CMRL invites digitally signed open e-tender through e-procurement portal from reputed, experienced, financially sound, eligible applicants, who
fulfill the qualification criteria as mentioned in the tender through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) under Single Stage two Envelope
(Technical & Financial) system for the works as detailed below under loan disbursement of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA):
1. Name of work Tender No: CP13-C3-AES02-ESC (Lumpsum tender) (Under JICA Loan Agreement ID-P 272)
“Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Heavy Duty Escalators and
Travelators for CMRL Phase II – Corridor 3 (From Madhavaram Milk Colony Metro to Sholinganallur Metro
stations)”
2. Bid validity 180 days from the date of submission of tender.

3. 4Bid Security Amount (EMD) a) Amount: The total bid security/EMD amount shall be equivalent to INR 3,06,10,000 (Indian Rupees,
Three Crore Six Lakh Ten Thousand Only) or USD 3,67,200 (US Dollars Three Lakhs Sixty Seven
Thousand Two Hundred only) or JPY 53,711,175 (Japanese Yen, Fifty Three Million Seven
Hundred Eleven Thousand and One Hundred Seventy Five Only) and to be submitted in the form
of Bank Guarantee (BG) or via RTGS / NEFT / SWIFT transactions or via Demand Draft (DD) to the
below mentioned CMRL Bank account.
Validity: In case of Bid Security by BG, it shall be valid for 208 days i.e. up to 05-01-2025 or later.
b) Submission of Originals: Bid Security in case of BG/Demand Draft (in originals) as per clause BDS
21.1 & BDS 21.2 shall be accepted only up to 15:00 Hrs on 11-06-2024 in the office of AGM (VHT
System) at the address mentioned hereinafter.
c) In case of RTGS/NEFT/SWIFT transactions, bidders shall upload the scanned copies of transaction of
payment at the time of online bid submission and a copy of the same shall be submitted at the office of
AGM (VHT System) at the address mentioned hereinafter prior to 15:00 Hrs on 11-06-2024
