Spider Struggle Facing Challenges Life is full of challenges as you grow older the frequency and complexity of challenges increases. How do you face challenges? Do you see them as an opportunity and face them with confidence or Road with nervousness? BIEN Facing chatlenges i away to push ourselves and see what we are capable of doing. Challenges make us stronger and give anewmeaning tollfe. Let us see how. .. Once upon a time there was a spider who lived in the basement of a museum. The spider's web was spun ongside paintings that were in the basement for years. The spider's web was artistic and it had made the most beautiful web in the whole museum. It was really spectacular and the spider took all efforts into ooking after its web. For the spider, it was the most valuable thing in the world. However, one day the museum started reorganising its paintings and shifting them from the basement to. the exhibition hall for display. Most of the spiders realised what was happening and left their webs to move toother places But this spider did not bother and thought, “It will just be a few paintings.” As time passed by, more and more paintings were removed from the basement but yet the spider stuck to its web and thought, Where am|going to find a better place than this?” One morning the museum employees took paintings that were placéd alongside this spider's web. The spider didn't want to leave his web but he realised that if he didn't leave his web right away, then he would end up in the exhibition hall. In an act of strength and decisiveness, he chose to abandon his magnificent web, the web he had worked his whole life to buildup. Later, the spider realised that it was a good decision, because if it hadn't left then it would have b because of the insect killers that were being sprayed on the paintings. Post his escape, and after overcoming many difficulties, the Spider ended up in a. s ittle garden where he found such a quiet corner, where he was.ablé to spin an even better web and become a much happier spider. . Sometimes in life, there comes a time when we haveto face challenges just like the spider and take difficult decisions. The includes spending long hours on the phone, texting, talking, social networking or simply playing online games. Facing Challenges in Life Lifes full of challenges and most of them are unexpected, However, we can overcome these challenges with inner strength and effective coping skills. Some important things to keep in mind as face life's challenges are: Understand that you can choose how you react and respond: You cannot choose what happens to you but you can always choose how you respond to the situation. The first step in coping with a personal challenge is to examine what is going on in your world. Ask yourself these questions - “Am | seeing this asit really is?” "How big is this problem or challenge?” Once you have assessed the situation, you may discover that the problem isn't as serious as you had thought.
