Academic Rules of academic conduct: Mandatory attendance of classes, unacceptability of
policy of the being late, compliance with deadlines for completing and submitting assignments
course in the (independent work, seminars, midterm exams).
context of Academic values: According to Article 5 of the Code of Honor of a student of the
university Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, a student must strictly fulfill
values his/her academic obligations and not commit academic and legal violations
(plagiarism, forgery, using cheat sheets, deceiving a teacher and disrespecting
him/her, absenteeism and being late without good reason).
All students can receive consultation assistance in person, by phone or via email.
Assessment and Criteria-based assessment:assessment of learning outcomes in accordance with
Certification descriptors (checking the development of competencies during midterm
Policy assessments and exams).
Summative assessment:assessment of presence and activity of work in the
audience, assessment of the completed task.
Final assessment of the discipline =0,2 ∙ (РК1 + РК(МТ) + РК2) + 0,4 ∙ ИК
РК1, РК2 – midterm control, МТ – midterm exam, ИК – final control.
Percentage-rating letter system for assessing students' academic achievements:
