ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
1 Production Process Optimization
• Process Design and Improvement: Analyze and develop manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste,
and enhance product quality.
• Time and Motion Studies: Conduct studies to identify
inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements.
• Automation Integration: Evaluate and implement automation to streamline
operations and reduce labor costs.
• Process Monitoring: Ensure that all manufacturing processes operate
within specified tolerances and production targets.
2 Quality Control and Assurance
• Product Quality: Monitor and control product quality through regular
inspections and audits of production processes.
• Standardization: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
to ensure consistent quality.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues and implement
corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance: Ensure all products meet customer specifications,
industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
3 Production Planning and Scheduling
• Capacity Planning: Determine the required capacity and resources
to meet production demands.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to
ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with procurement and inventory control
teams to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed.
4 Equipment and Maintenance Management
• Maintenance Strategy: Implement a proactive maintenance strategy to minimize
downtime and increase equipment reliability.
• Equipment Setup: Oversee the installation and commissioning of
new machinery and equipment.
• Equipment Upgrades: Evaluate and recommend the purchase of
new machinery or tools to enhance production capabilities.
5 Safety and Environmental Compliance
• Workplace Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain
a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits and training to ensure compliance
with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Environmental Impact: Ensure that production processes adhere to environmental guidelines and minimize the
environmental impact of operations.
6 Cost Control and Budget Management
• Budgeting: Develop and monitor production-related budgets
to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through
process improvements, waste reduction, and optimization.
• Resource Utilization: Ensure effective and efficient use of resources
(materials, labor, machinery) to meet production goals.
7 Collaboration and Communication
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments such
as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D to align production activities.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to production
staff on best practices, safety procedures, and process improvements.
• Reporting: Regularly update management on production status,
challenges, and improvements.
8 Continuous Improvement and Innovation
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
and increase production efficiency.
• Six Sigma Practices: Promote the use of Six Sigma methodologies to
improve process quality and reduce defects.

to continuously innovate and improve production processes.
