MY REFLECTION PAPER
As I reflect on our midterm examination, I couldn’t help but smile thinking about the tarts
we baked. It was a challenging experience, but one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I have to admit,
I was a really nervous at first since it was my first time to bake alone. We had done various
baking activities in class before, but this was different. We were on our own, with no team to
rely on, and our plating skills were put to the test. But as I started mixing and baking, my
nervousness slowly faded away. I loved every step of the process, from measuring out the
ingredients to carefully placing the tarts in the oven. What struck me most, though, was the
sense of pride I felt when I presented my finished tarts. I had done it all on my own, and seeing
my hard work pay off was incredibly satisfying. This experience taught me that even when
things seem daunting, I’m capable of rising to the challenge. It also reminded me of the
importance of attention to detail and creativity in plating. As I reflect on our midterm
examination, I realize that it was more than just a test of our baking skills. It was a test of our
perseverance, creativity, and attention to detail. But of course I’m really gratefully to Ma’am
Raquel’s guidance and patience to us even though I can clearly see that she is also tired
because she’s been teaching the students from the different classes the whole time. Now,
I’m really looking forward to more baking experience that I will surely enjoy and will learn a
lot of lessns.
