Instructions:
Please write and fill in the information requested in this weekly progress report.
Your progress report must be a business related topic of your choice.

Imagine that you are the owner or manager of a company. You need to write one
paragraph for each of the four boxes below (4 paragraphs in total) describing how the
previous week went.

Please mind your grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure.

The 1st paragraph (Summary) describes your company in general and the specific project
that it is currently doing. For example, a construction company that is building a high-rise
state-of-the-art residential building, with several amenities such as a swimming pool,
bowling alley, hair salon, grocery store, gift shop, etc…

The 2nd paragraph describes the (Highlights), in other words what went well during the
previous week. For example, the construction of the building is ahead of schedule and
also under-budget. For example, we thought it would take 10 years to build, but actually it
will only take 8 years to build. Also, thought it would cost 50 million dollars to build, but
instead it will only cost our company 40 million dollars to construct.

The 3rd paragraph, the (Lowlights) describes what went wrong during the previous week.
For example, two of our workers were injured on the job and now they need to be
replaced. Also, when the windows arrived to install in our building, they were slightly
smaller than what we needed. Therefore the windows won’t fit properly.

The 4th paragraph (Plan for Next Week) should address what need to be done to solve the
problem/s that you have in the (Lowlight Box). For example, our company has arranged
for two new workers to replace the other two injured workers. Also, the company that
made the windows that didn’t fit properly will remove those windows and replace them with
new properly fitting windows instead.

Please remember that the above example is only an example to help illustrate the
expectations of what a Weekly Progress Report is. I wrote it as a guide to help give you a
better understanding. PLEASE DO NOT COPY MY EXAMPLE! Please create your own
Weekly Progress Report, using another type of fictional business.
