Sub: - Postponing and rescheduling of JTO phase-1 training of the DR JEs, to protect their NEPP
promotion – requesting to kindly do the needful – reg.

Kindly recollect the discussion that we had with you on the subject on 07th instant.
The phase-1 training of the candidates declared successful in the JTO LICE held on 08.09.2024, has started
today the 10.03.2025 and will be completed on 16.06.2025. It has been brought to our notice by many DR
JEs, who have been ordered to undergo this training, that their NEPP in the JE cadre is falling due on
27.06.2025 and the same will be forfeited if they are posted as JTOs on 16.06.2025.
JEs from various circles have represented to the Management, to postpone their JTO phase-1 training, so
that they will get their NEPP promotion before getting posted as JTOs. The Chennai circle administration
also has written letter to the Corporate Office, forwarding the names and representations of the JEs who
have requested for the postponement of their JTO training. Copy of the letter is enclosed for your kind
perusal.
This is a genuine demand from the DR JEs to protect their hard earned NEPP promotion, which is
becoming due after completion of 8 years of service. We request you to kindly look into this issue. The
JTO training of the DR JEs who have requested for the postponement of their JTO training may kindly be
considered. Their training may be rescheduled in such a manner, so that their NEPP promotion of JE cadre
is safeguarded.
