Institutions offering higher education, especially in the field of management must become aware of their significant role in creating future managers who will lead organizations to become world-class organizations. Educational Institutes plays a vital role in propagating, assimilating and developing contemporary innovative management practices and systems. They lay a strong theoretical foundation which is the basis of good corporate practice, as well as couple management to practice, thus creating a generation of future managers. To create excellent human resources, it is imperative to have excellence in higher education. The meaning of quality higher education and factors affecting this quality requires continual inputs from academicians as well as managers. With this is mind, Pioneer presents its annual national conference of 2012: Mapping for Excellence-Challenges Ahead: Shaping Future Managers. MBA program of the institute has also been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute is ranked 82nd at National Level and 1st in M.P. by 4Ps Business and Marketing June-July, 2010. This survey was conducted by Indian Council for Marketing Research. Institute is accorded permanent affiliation and recognized itself as a Research Center in Management by DAVV, Indore. Pioneer Institute of Professional Studies helps students to improve their managerial practices both in private and public sectors, and adopts advanced management practices. It seeks to do this through producing risk taking dynamic managers who will pioneer new managerial practices and set new principles, which will generate new ideas of international significance. The Institute creates managers who can face global challenges with full confidence. The institute is accorded 2 (f) status by UGC, New Delhi. Under the leadership of Prof. P.K. Jain, the institute has grown and achieved high academic status and built a strong faculty composed of acclaimed scholars. The author(s) should clearly mention under what track (sub-theme) and category (research paper/conceptual paper/case study) of the conference the abstract is to be included.
