Education can easily be considered the backbone of the Indian economy. Institutions offering higher education, especially in the field of management must become aware of their significant role in creating future managers who will lead organizations to become world-class organizations. Educational Institutes plays a vital role in propagating, assimilating and developing contemporary innovative management practices and systems. They lay a strong theoretical foundation which is the basis of good corporate practice, as well as couple management to practice, thus creating a generation of future managers. To create excellent human resources, it is imperative to have excellence in higher education. The meaning of quality higher education and factors affecting this quality requires continual inputs from academicians as well as managers. With this is mind, Pioneer presents its annual national conference of 2012: Mapping for Excellence-Challenges Ahead: Shaping Future Managers.
