Position: Security Consultant

Job Description

• Responsible for IT security projects: Implementation of Endpoint security solutions, NGFW,


DLP, Network Management Solutions, Web application firewall/Load Balancers, Privilege
Access Management solutions, Email security solutions, Patch management and SIEM
solutions.

• Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new projects / technologies


• Responsible for planning, implementing and improving security policies for firewall, Endpoint
security, PAM, WAF and Email security.
• Manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks to meet established deadlines
• Participates to execution of network security projects: (Site visits, Preparing Request for
Proposal, RFQ, technical evaluation, installation, implementation and commissioning).
• Shall be responsible to prepare the tender compliance sheet, BOQ etc. as per the tender
specs
• Shall be responsible to prepare the network diagram & presentation as required
• Shall be responsible for Documentation including LLD, HLD and Technical handover for
customers.

• Provide day-to-day Tier 1 operational support including responding to incidents, service


requests and tasks
• Perform regular review / Health check of security system for existing customers.
• Shall be responsible for troubleshooting for a complex Network and Security infrastructure.

Job Requirements:
• Atleast 5 to 8 years of experience in Network security domain
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Implementation experience of network security products link (Palo Alto, Checkpoint,
Sophos,Fortigate, Solarwinds, splunk,Trendmicro,Evanthi)
• Strong understanding of network security systems and technologies
• Should know the fundamentals of NIST CSF, ISO 27k, NESA etc.
• Good Communication & Report Writing Skills.
• Having UAE driving License Preferred.
• Having Hands on Experience with NGFW, WAF, Endpoint security solutions with
Checkpoint/Palo Alto, F5, Sophos Preferred)
• Having Experience with Network security assessment is preferred.
Preferred Certifications/Training

• CCNP, CCIE (Data Center, Routing and Switching, or Security)


• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Checkpoint Certified Security Associate (CCSA or CCSE)
• CompTIA Sec+
• Training or Certification on Splunk SIEM solution.
• Training or Certification on WAF solutions.
• Training or Certification on Network management solutions (Solarwinds)
