1⃣ Important Formulas for Quick Revision

Arithme c

Percentages:

 Percentage = (Value / Total Value) × 100

 Profit% = (Profit / Cost Price) × 100

 Loss% = (Loss / Cost Price) × 100

 Discount% = (Discount / Marked Price) × 100

 Compound Interest = P (1 + r/100)^t – P

Ra o & Propor on:

 a:b = c:d → (a × d = b × c) (Cross mul plica on)

 If A:B = 2:3 and B:C = 4:5, then A:C = (2×4):(3×5) = 8:15

Time & Work:

 Work = Rate × Time

 If A can do a piece of work in X days, A’s one-day work = 1/X

 If A and B together can complete a task in T days, their one-day work = 1/T

Speed, Distance & Time:

 Speed = Distance / Time

 If Speed increases by X%, Time decreases by (X / (100 + X)) × 100 %

 Average Speed = (Total Distance) / (Total Time)

Simple & Compound Interest:

 Simple Interest (SI) = (P × R × T) / 100

 Compound Interest (CI) = P (1 + R/100)^T – P

Algebra

Quadra c Equa ons:

 Standard Form: ax² + bx + c = 0

 Roots: x = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)] / 2a

Linear Equa ons:

 For two equa ons: ax + by = c and dx + ey = f, solve by subs tu on/elimina on.

Number System
LCM & HCF:

 LCM × HCF = Product of Numbers

Divisibility Rules:

 2 → Last digit is even

 3 → Sum of digits is divisible by 3

 5 → Last digit is 0 or 5

Geometry & Mensura on

Areas & Volumes:

 Triangle Area = ½ × Base × Height

 Circle Area = πr², Circumference = 2πr

 Cube Volume = a³, Surface Area = 6a²

Data Interpreta on (DI)

Common Averages:

 Mean = (Sum of Observa ons) / (Number of Observa ons)

Percentage Change in DI:

 % Change = [(New Value - Old Value) / Old Value] × 100
