The Foundation
The sponsoring body of the University – the
Foundation for Advancement of Science
Board of Governors of Fast
and Technology (FAST) was established in
1980. It is registered with the Government of
Pakistan as a charitable institution. In 1985,
it selected higher education as a vehicle to
pursue its objective of producing scientists
and technologists of the highest caliber. FAST
pioneered the development of IT industry
in Pakistan by offering the country’s first
undergraduate program in Computer Science.
Today, this University, sponsored by FAST,
stands recognized as the leader and trend-
setter in this field in Pakistan and abroad. President

FAST-NUCES is Pakistan’s premier technology university and a bastion of
higher learning. With campuses in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar,
and Chiniot-Faisalabad, we are excited to announce the opening of our Multan
Campus in 2025 to support the talent and youth of South Punjab. As a non-
profit institution dedicated to human development, we provide substantial
financial aid to ensure that no one is denied the opportunity for education.
We take pride in being pioneers of Computer Science education in Pakistan, having introduced
the first degree in 1985. Our alumni are the backbone of the software industry as well as holders
of top positions in management and engineering domains both in Pakistan and internationally,
contributing to major multinational companies and playing a crucial role in the entrepreneurial
ecosystem globally.
Continuing our legacy of innovation, we offer degree programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data
Science, Financial Technology (Fintech), and Cyber Security. In 2021, we successfully launched
our Business Analytics degree program. Additionally, we provide programs in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business
Administration, and Accounting and Finance. We have also introduced a specialization in Game
Development within the Computer Science program for senior students.
