Threats:

1. High Competition: Competes with established jewellery brands offering similar

minimalist aesthetics.

continuous adaptation.

3. Customer Retention Challenge: Since Gen Z frequently switches brands based on trends,

maintaining loyalty can be difficult.

CHAPTER 2 – FUNCTIONAL AREA

Social Media Stratergy

We undertook a collaborative project centered around building and managing the digital presence

of Regalia, a minimalist jewellery brand launched on 6th October 2024. Regalia is designed to

resonate with Gen Z, offering delicate, elegant, and modern jewellery pieces that redefine everyday

accessorizing. Our goal was to showcase the brand’s identity—Effortless Elegance—through a

compelling and engaging Instagram strategy.

Objective:

Our primary objective was to create a strong and consistent brand presence on Instagram, targeting

Gen Z audiences. We aimed to communicate Regalia’s core values of minimalism, elegance, and

affordability while maximizing reach, engagement, and follower growth.

Content Strategy:

We adopted a content-first approach, curating visually cohesive and aesthetically pleasing content

aligned with the brand's tone. Our content strategy included:

Reels: We focused heavily on short-form video content to capture attention and boost engagement.

Reels included styling tutorials, behind-the-scenes clips, product close-ups, and trending audio

formats. The goal was to showcase how Regalia jewellery fits effortlessly into everyday looks.

Posts: We designed high-quality static and carousel posts that highlighted individual products,

collection launches, and fashion inspiration. Each post maintained a soft, minimalist aesthetic with

neutral tones, ensuring brand consistency.

Captions: We crafted captions that were not only informative but also relatable and on-trend.

Hashtags were strategically used to enhance discoverability, and call-to-actions (e.g., “Which

one’s your pick?” or “Tag someone who’d love this!”) were integrated to encourage interaction.
Stories: We used Instagram Stories for real-time engagement and updates. Content included

product polls, quick styling tips, countdowns for new drops, and Q&A sessions. Highlights were

curated to provide a quick glance into the brand’s collections, customer reviews, and BTS

moments.

Brainstorming & Collaboration:

Our social media strategy was the result of multiple brainstorming sessions where we worked as a

creative team to generate innovative and relevant ideas. Each team member contributed insights

into trending formats, design layouts, storytelling angles, and ways to enhance user engagement.

These collaborative sessions helped us better understand audience behavior and tailor our content

accordingly.

Scheduling & Consistency:

We developed a weekly content calendar to ensure consistency in posting. Key days were selected

for reels, product showcases, and interactive content. This approach helped maintain audience

interest and built a sense of anticipation around regular content drops.

Target Audience Engagement:

Understanding our Gen Z audience was central to our strategy. We used popular music, slang, and

pop culture references in content to make it more relatable. We also encouraged user-generated

content by inviting followers to tag us in their photos wearing Regalia jewellery.

Conclusion:

Through a structured and creative social media strategy, we successfully enhanced the Instagram

presence of Regalia. By combining visual appeal, strategic planning, and content innovation, we

aligned our efforts with the brand’s vision and connected effectively with its target audience.

launch of the brand’s second jewellery collection, with a spotlight on its refined silver pieces. This

milestone event was pivotal in reinforcing Regalia’s presence in the luxury jewellery space, and

my contribution helped shape how the brand’s story reached audiences beyond the venue.

In the lead-up to the event, I collaborated closely with the creative and brand teams to plan visual

content strategies aligned with Regalia’s elegant identity. I developed a shot list that emphasized

key design elements, speaker moments, behind-the-scenes preparation, and audience interactions.

Simultaneously, I helped craft a real-time social media plan to ensure live coverage and sustained

digital engagement.

On the day of the press conference, I was responsible for capturing compelling, high-quality

imagery that showcased the atmosphere, details, and emotional highlights of the event. From

candid moments to product close-ups, my lens was focused on telling a cohesive and visually rich

story. I also managed live social media updates, including Stories, reels, and posts that engaged
