STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Write a response to the following question(s). You can add a page, if necessary. We are interested in
getting to know you as a candidate, so please include examples from your personal experiences. We
ask that you do not submit AI-generated responses because they will not provide us with the best
information about you as an applicant.
*Suggested AI – Resistant Writing Prompts*
Generative AI (ChatGPT, Google Bard, or Bing) is particularly good at producing factual, summative, or
analytical responses. Prompts that seem to be resistant to AI include responses that require personal
experiences, reflection, and application of knowledge. Here are some sample prompts you might try to
avoid AI-generated responses. You might also include a statement like the one above to discourage
the use of AI.

your learning experience in your English language teaching?

About me
Aytaj Abdullayeva, Azerbaijan.
Winter 2025 (January 14- March 10) is appropriate for
me .
Higly interested :
1. TESOL Methodology
2. Teaching English Academic Writing to Speakers of
Other Languages
(formerly Developing and Teaching Academic Writing
Courses)
3. Teaching Grammar Communicatively
4. Teaching English to Young Learners

1. Although I graduated with a degree in translation, I pursue

myself as a teacher in life. Because the issue is not just
teaching English; it’s about guiding the right path, being a
light. To enhance my teaching skills, I completed all three
modules of the official TKT exam with a Band 3, which helps
me be productive in my work and structure my planning
effectively. Currently, I am working as an English teacher at
the “Eduland Development Center” .

2. Being in constant development plays a positive role in both

my personal growth and career. To tell the truth , the TESOL
methodology in the project has greatly motivated me.

3. I’m sure that after this training, I will have a lot to share
during knowledge discussions with my colleagues at the
center where I work. At the same time, I will apply new
methods for my students.
