You are applying for an Internship role at an influencer marketing platform (a product by
Bhudhar Software) that connects social media influencers with brands to run campaigns and
promotions. The platform is in a growth phase, aiming to increase traffic, user base (influencers
& brands), visibility, and platform authority in the digital space.
This assignment will assess your digital strategy, campaign creativity, data-driven thinking, and
ability to scale a two-sided platform.
Objective
Demonstrate your approach to:
● Growing monthly website traffic from 0 to 100,000
● Scaling influencer and brand registrations
● Launching high-performing digital campaigns
● Analyzing competitors for strategic growth opportunities
Part 1: Growth Strategy & Campaign Planning
You’re given a $20,000 budget for a 3-month period. Your goals are to:
● Increase influencer registrations by 40%
● Increase brand sign-ups by 30%
● Improve platform authority in the influencer marketing niche
Tasks:
1. Develop a 3-month digital marketing strategy:
○ Channel mix (paid, organic, social, partnerships, etc.)
○ Budget allocation by channel
○ Campaign ideas, content pillars, and funnel strategies
2. Design a creative influencer-led campaign:
○ Campaign theme, concept, and execution plan
○ How will it benefit both influencers and brands?
○ Viral potential & KPIs to measure success
Part 2: Competitive SWOT Analysis
Choose 5 direct or indirect competitors (find any online real and live) in the influencer
marketing space. For each:
1. Perform a brief SWOT analysis:
○ Strengths (e.g., UX, partnerships, market share)
○ Weaknesses (e.g., pricing, platform gaps)
○ Opportunities (e.g., untapped audiences, new features)
○ Threats (e.g., emerging platforms, privacy regulations)
2. Summarize 3 key learnings from the SWOTs.
3. Recommend how our platform can position itself competitively by:
○ Offering something they don’t
○ Avoiding their weaknesses
○ Differentiating through messaging or feature set
Part 3: Website Growth Plan – From 0 to 100,000 Monthly Visitors
We’re launching publicly and want to scale organic and paid traffic to 100,000 monthly unique
visitors within 6–12 months.
Tasks:
1. Outline a multi-phase growth plan:
○ Short-term (0–3 months)
○ Mid-term (3–6 months)
○ Long-term (6–12 months)
2. Include strategies for:
○ SEO (blog topics, link-building, technical SEO)
○ Paid acquisition (channels, CPC goals, targeting ideas)
○ Influencer-driven traffic generation
○ Retention and re-engagement
3. Mention 3–5 key tools or platforms you'd use for execution and analytics.
Part 4: Analytics & Conversion Optimization
You notice high traffic but low brand conversion rates on the platform. You have access to
Google Analytics, heatmaps, and CRM data.

2. List 3 changes you'd test on landing pages to improve conversions.
3. What are your top 5 metrics to monitor performance across the funnel?
Part 5: Social Media & Content Strategy
The platform wants to become a thought leader in influencer marketing.
1. Propose a 1-month content calendar (just high-level themes by week).
2. Suggest 3 content series/formats to engage:
○ Influencers
○ Brand decision-makers
3. Describe your unique strategies for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
Part 6: Creative & Critical Thinking Challenge
1. Suggest 1 unconventional or guerrilla marketing idea that could spark buzz.
2. Share how you'd build trust and credibility with high-value brands.
3. Propose a community-building initiative for influencers or marketers.
