Dear Parents,

Summer holidays are around the corner Despite the hot


sun we can still have a lot of fun, so vacation is here for a
sweet treat. In order to enhance the children's creativity
and innovation for the progressive learning, Cambridge
International School has designed a few engaging
activities and holiday homework. Help your children to do
it.

The activities to be done during the holidays are divided into 4


sections, from traditional sports to weather, farming will also be
known.
Children should not watch TV, mobile while eating food during holidays. Fasting (not
using) mobile for one day.

Ask grandparents, parents, which sweets were made in their marriage. children will
learn a lot from such activities while staying at home.

Section-A: Students Will remember 10 mobile numbers of family members.

Section-B: Spices in the Kitchen , touch and smell.

Section -C: Making a family tree by asking grandparents. Where did the family come
from, pressing the feet of grandparents, maternal grandparents, play with them , Height
and weight of family members will also be measured.

Section-D: Photographs of players to be collected from newspapers or magazines


learn their names and paste it in your Scrapbook.

• Memorising a prayer, hymn, word or religious song and 5 jokes.

• Playing Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, Carrom etc.

• Remembering the name of Sarpanch, MLA, Sports Minister, CM, PM, Governor, President.

• Measuring height and weight of family members.

•Arrangement of grains and water for the birds.


Reading work :-

Read one page daily from your English book and find out Noun
and Pronoun.

Writing work :-

• Write one page of cursive writing everyday in holiday homework


notebook.

• Write 10 sentences and find out Noun in these sentences.

• Do worksheet of english from 2 to 24 in holiday homework book.

Learning work :-

Learn chapter 1 to 3 complete with book exercise.

English Grammar :-

Read section C and try to understand and fill it with the help of
parents.

Creative work :-

Make a chart of sentence and its kinds.

Biography:-

• Paste a picture of writer Kenn Nesbilt and write 10 lines about


him on a chart. (Roll no 1 to 20)

• Paste a picture of writer Walter De La Mara and write 10 lines


about him on a chart. (Roll no. 21 to 4

Salty Water and Floating Egg:


• Concept: Explains buoyancy and how density affects objects
floating.

• Materials: A glass, water, salt, and an egg.

• How it works: Adding salt increases the water's density, allowing


the egg to float.

Biography :-

• Pastea picture of Rani Laxmibai and write 10 lines about her on


a chart. ( Roll no 1 to 20)

• Paste a picture of Subhash Chandra Bose and write 10 lines


about him on a chart. ( Roll no 21 to 40)
