1 Guess the meanings and match them together.
Steph decides to write a list of all the ordinary, everyday activities she
does. Her first activity of the day is to choose what to have for breakfast.
She washes her face, brushes her teeth and combs her hair. After
breakfast, Steph tidies away her bowl and spoon. Before she leaves
for school, she makes herself a packed lunch. Next, Steph puts on her
uniform and shoes and fastens the laces.
Steph walks to school and goes into her lessons. When Steph gets home from
school, she puts away her bag, washes out her packed lunch box and has a
snack. Later on, after dinner, Steph has a shower, listens to the radio
and brushes her teeth again before bed. Steph reads her book before
bedtime and when she looks at the list of everyday things she does,
she is surprised at how long the list is!
