MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 1
Before performing any maintenance operation, activate all of the security devic-
es provided and evaluate the necessity to adequately inform personnel operat-
ing in the near vicinity. In particular, confine the neighbouring areas to impede
access to the devices that could, if activated, produce unexpected danger con-
ditions provoking hazards to personal safety and health.
Only a single person must carry out the maintenance interventions with the ma-
chine in "manual mode" and by using the mobile push-button pad.
Important
Keep the machine in maximum working conditions by performing the pro-
grammed maintenance operations advised by the manufacturer. Good mainte-
nance achieves the best machine performance, longer machine life and
constant observance of the safety regulations.

TROUBLESHOOTING 1
The machine is designed to automatically signal the principal anomalies that could oc-
cur during its operation by sending alarm messages that can be consulted on the op-
erations terminal. Since this is an automatic machine, its operating cycle consists of a
sequence of movements that receive approval from the previous maneuver and give
approval to the next maneuver. For this reason, when the work cycle is interrupted, it
is possible to identify the last movement performed that did not give its approval to the
next maneuver.
The table shows a list of several generic problems that may be encountered during
use of the machine.
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1
– Before performing any replacement operation, activate all of the security devices
provided and evaluate the necessity to adequately inform personnel operating in the
near vicinity. In particular, confine the neighbouring areas to impede access to the
devices that could, if activated, produce unexpected danger conditions provoking
hazards to personal safety and health. In the event deteriorated parts need replace-
ment, only use original spare parts. The manufacturer is not liable for damages to
persons or parts caused by the use of non-original parts and extraordinary opera-
tions that can modify safety requirements without express authorisation. To request
parts follow the indications found in the spare parts catalogue.
– This operation must be performed by skilled technicians according to the work safety
laws in force. Do not litter the environment with non-biodegradable products, lubri-
cants and non-ferrous parts (rubber, PVC, resin, etc.). Perform disposal according to
the pertinent laws in force.
– When operations requesting the use of the mobile push-button panel with disabled
safety functions must be performed, these functions must be disabled by the person
in charge of the system.
– The person in charge of the system must authorise only the properly skilled person-
nel to replace the cutting blades. Moreover, he/she must make sure that no improper
operations are carried out in order to prevent any risks to people’s safety.
– After completing these operations, the person in charge of the system must reset the
operation of push-button panel by means of key selector , must check the resetting
of the safety conditions, remove the key from selector and retain it in a place un-
known to his/her colleagues.
Replace worn parts with original spare parts. Use tools and equipment in good work-
ing conditions and the lubricants recommended by the manufacturer to ensure correct
work station operations and the foreseen safety level.
The use of P.E. Labellers S.p.A original spare parts ensures the warranty right and en-
ables the maximum efficiency and machine life.
The list includes the spare parts subject to wear, which are not covered by warranty.
