Dear Parents / Guardians / Students
1. A Comprehensive Summer Vacations tasks is provided to the Cadets
for utilizing available time during summer vacations. 2 nd Term / Post Summer
Vacations Exams of class 8th & 9th shall be conducted from the Summer
Vacations tasks & from the lectures given on Website, Portal & WhatsApp
group. Additionally, online tests have also been planned for the
months of Jul and Aug, with schedule reflected on College Website, to
monitor progress.
2. Objectives of Summer Vacations. Following objectives need to
be met for entire efforts: -
a. Continuity of studies, at a slower pace to retain current with
academics and avoid undue time wastage.
b. Identify and address shortfalls observed so far, which otherwise
are difficult to manage during active college routine.
c. Explore other areas of Education for a comprehensive learning
process.
d. Improve upon reading and writing skills for enhanced personality
attributes and effective examination management.
3. All academic subjects have been included in the Summer Vacations
Tasks with additional assignment of a Book Review, English Communication
Skills, Completion of Practical Note Books (theory and diagrams only) and a
few other tasks concerning upcoming college events and completions.
4. Quiz cum Assembly Line educations has been introduced to improve
attitude for learning. Details being shared separately.
5. Cooperation from parents shall be highly appreciated. Looking forward
for meaningful and mutually rewarding interaction, Inshallah.

Note: Attempt all the given categories of the Summer Task on
assignment pages with proper covers and binding. (Mandatory)
1. Textbook
a. Revise and read carefully the First Three units of the book and
attempt the exercise questions.
b. Identify and write the key points of the above lessons as MCQs. (10
MCQs each)
c. Make a list of figures of speech used in the poem and write its
paraphrase.
2. Write the following applications.
a. Application to the Principal to recommend some suggestions for
improving the College facilities and services further.
b. Application to the Principal requesting a meeting to discuss and
suggest some contributive initiatives for academic progress.
c. Application to the Principal requesting for a character certificate or fee
concession or emergency leave.
d. Application for a study tour.
3. Write the following letters.
a. A Letter to parents sharing news and updates of study progress and
the various activities held in the College.
b. A letter to a friend congratulating him on his success and securing
position in exam.
c. A Letter to your ailing mother asking her well-being and wishing her
get well soon.
d. A Letter to the editor of a newspaper highlighting the importance of
following the traffic rules.
4. Develop a story for each of the following morals.
a. Honesty is the best policy b. Pride hath a fall
c. Greed is a curse d. When there is a will, there is a way.
5. Debate Topics: Research and write arguments in the form of an
essay for or against the following topics, then engage in a debate
with a friend or a family member to prepare for the competition held at
the college after summer vacations.
a. Social media is a platform of freedom of speech, or a tool of spreading
misinformation among masses.
b. Knowledge-based economy verses defense-based economy
c. The will should be stronger than the skill
6. Book Review: Write a review of the book of your choice follow the
following format/guidelines for writing the book review.
a. Introduce the book that provides a brief overview i.e. title, author,
publisher, publication date and genre of the book and your overall
impression.
b. In the body paragraphs, delve into the key aspects of the book, such as
plot, characters, favorite parts, writing style, themes, and any other
significant strength or weakness.
c. Support your opinions and observations with specific examples or
quotes from the book to support your points
d. Maintain an objective tone throughout your review, providing both
positive and constructive feedback.
e. Write simple and use clear and coherent paragraphs to organize your
thoughts effectively
f. In conclusion, summarize your main points and provide some
recommendation of the book for the readers.
7. Grammar
a. Learn at least two new words every day and use them in meaningful
sentences.
b. Write at least 50 sentences using different prepositions.
c. Revise the tenses and write 5 examples for each category, i.e.
indefinite, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous.
8. Language Task
a. Write a journal that reflects on your experiences during the summer
vacations.
b. Watch any of the following movies and write its story in your own
words.

Biology -Class 9th
Note: All the students of Class 9 th are required to complete following
tasks/home work during summer vacations. These tasks (homework) carry
25% marks of the exam that will be conducted after summer vacations. The
exam will consist of course taught in college and homework assigned for
summer vacations. So properly prepare homework and study the topics
taught in the college.
Parents are required to sign each task after completion, otherwise will not be
accepted.
Tasks/Homework details:
1. Student are required to solve Biology board papers of past two years.
2. Students are required to thoroughly study four chapters (Chapter 1-4) of
Biology textbook for class 9 th and draw all the diagrams in note books.
After summer vacations the exam will be conducted in all the four

3. The exercises at the end of each chapter (Chapter 1-4) are required to be
