MV_ Power Generation Units (G1 to G6)
There are six generating units (G1–G6):
i. G1, G2, G3 are connected to 11 kV Busbar A
ii. G4, G5, G6 are connected to 11 kV Busbar B
Each generator produces power at 11 kV, and the individual real power outputs (in kW) are
shown below them.

Busbars (A, B, and C – 11 kV)
There are three 11 kV busbars:
i. Busbar A (left side) – fed by G1, G2, G3
ii. Busbar B (right side) – fed by G4, G5, G6
iii. Busbar C (center) – common connection between Busbar A and B
These busbars distribute the generator output power to transformers or loads.
Step-Up Transformers (11 kV → 132 kV)
The plant uses step-up transformers to raise the 11 kV output to 132 kV for grid export:
i. 1 MAIN TR: 11 kV to 132 kV (connected to Busbar A)
ii. 2 MAIN TR: 11 kV to 132 kV (connected to Busbar B)
iii. BACKUP MAIN TR: Standby transformer (connected to Busbar C)
These transformers feed power into the 132 kV grid via circuit breakers.
Circuit Breakers
Each major connection (generators, transformers, and grid) has a breaker. These are represented
with the circuit symbol and control lines. Breakers:
i. Allow disconnection for maintenance or protection
ii. Are marked as remote or manual
Synchronization System
At the bottom center, there is a Synchronizer unit:
i. Ensures that voltage, frequency, and phase of the generators match the grid before
connection.
ii. Mode: Auto position ON – allows automatic synchronization for grid export.
Low Voltage Transformers (LV UNIT TR1)
There are two LV transformers:
i. One connected to Busbar A
ii. Another connected to Busbar B
These step-down voltage from 11 kV to 415 V for internal plant loads. The power flows down to
415/240V distribution panels.
Grid Export via 132 kV Breakers
At the top, 132 kV busbars and breakers are shown. The 132 kV output from step-up
transformers is:
i. Controlled via breakers.
ii. Sent to the grid or transmission system.
The status indicators (paralleled with grid, voltage on, etc.) give real-time system states.
