Task-2 : ART INTEGRATION PROJECT
Mathematics project on Sikkim
Art Integrated Learning (AIL) is a framework of experiential
learning which provides an equitable learning environment for
all learners through their own access points. This year we will
experience “SIKKIM”.
Art is a creative expression of an individual which has the
ability to communicate human thoughts. Mathematics and art
are related in numerous ways. Mathematics and Art both need
reasoning skills.
Explore MONUMENTS, POPULATION, TEMPERATURE
DIFFRENCE, LITERACY RATE, GENDER RATIO, DANCES,
FEATIVALS, ART FORMS, TRADITIONAL DRESSES,
TRADITIONAL FOODS of SIKKIM and present the same on
one of the following as per your roll number:
➢ comparison of population of last 5 years using bar graphs/histograms (Roll
No. 1 to 6)
➢ comparison of Male – female ratio last three decades using graphs (Roll
No. 7 to 12)
➢ Languages of Sikkim using Pie Charts (Roll No. 13 to 18)
➢ Line graph showing the month -wise average, high and low temperature of
Gangtok (Roll No. 19 to 24)
➢ Production of various crops (in million tonnes) using bar graphs and pie
chart (Roll No. 25 to 30)
➢ Calendar (Roll No. 31 onwards)
Present your finding on A3 sheets and compare the data using
graphs, pie charts, histograms etc.
