OPERATING INSTRUCTION

ENGLISH
1. f Button
– Press once to start the air conditioner unit.
– Press again to stop the unit.

Original Instruction
2. and Button
– Press the or button to increase or decrease the set temperature.
– Pressing FAN and SWING or VIEW button simultaneously to toggle the temperature
setting between °C and °F.

! NOTE
– Room Temperature Display is available for selected models only.

3. Button
– Continuously press for 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF the LED display on wall mounted unit.
4. Button (Model dependent)
– Press button to turn ON/OFF Quiet operation.
5. Button (Model dependent)
– Press button to turn ON/OFF Powerful operation.

6. Button
– Press the button to select the type of operating mode.
– For cooling only model, the available modes are: COOL ( ), DRY ( ), FAN ( ).
– For heat pump model, the available modes are: COOL ( ), HEAT ( ), AUTO ( ), DRY ( ),
FAN ( ).
7. Button

! NOTE
– Idle 10 seconds to exit the clock setting.
– The clock setting is in 24-hour clock.

A) To set the clock – Press and button simultaneously for 3 seconds.


a. Hour will blink.

b. Press or button to change the Hour.


c. Press button to confirm the Hour, then Minute will blink.

d. Press or button to change the Minute.


e. Press button to confirm the Minute, then “MON” will blink.
f. Press or button to change the Day.
g. Press button to confirm the Day.

B) ON/OFF Timer Setting – Daily Timer Setting
a. Continuously press for 3 seconds.
b. ON Timer 1 Setting
I. “MON” will blink.
II. Use or button to select the Day and press button to confirm the Day.
III. Hour will blink. Use or button to toggle between Hour and Minute.

Press or button to change the Hour and Minute.


Press button to confirm the setting.
IV. Repeat Step II to III for the timer setting of other days.

c. ON Timer 2 Setting
I. Press again to enter ON Timer 2 setting, then “MON” will blink.
II. Use or button to select the Day and press button to confirm the Day.
III. Hour will blink.

Press or button to change the Hour.


Press button to confirm the Hour, then Minute will blink.
IV. Repeat Step II to III for the timer setting of other days.

d. OFF Timer 1 Setting


I. Press again to enter OFF Timer 1 setting, then “MON” will blink.
II. Use or button to select the Day and press button to confirm the Day.
III. Hour will blink.

Press or button to change the Hour.


Press button to confirm the Hour, then Minute will blink.
IV. Repeat Step II to III for the timer setting of other days.

e. OFF Timer 2 Setting

ENGLISH
I. Press again to enter OFF Timer 2 setting, then “MON” will blink.
II. Use or button to select the Day and press button to confirm the Day.
III. Hour will blink.

Press or button to change the Hour.


Press button to confirm the Hour, then Minute will blink.
IV. Repeat Step II to III for the timer setting of other days.

C) Activation of ON/OFF Timer


a. Press to activate On Timer. will blink.
b. Press button for navigation of On Timer selection.

c. Press button to confirm the selection, then will blink.


d. Press button for navigation of Off Timer selection.

e. Press button to confirm the selection and exit.

! NOTE
– It is not advisable to set ON TIMER and OFF TIMER to have same values.
– Shall these occur, the effective timer will be treated with priority as stated in table below:

8. Button
– Press button to turn ON/OFF the light on ceiling cassette unit.
– Continuously press for 3 seconds to enter Feature selection. SLEEP ( ) will blink, use
or button to scroll between SLEEP ( ), ECO+ ( ), POWERFUL ( ), QUIET
( ). Press button to confirm the feature. If any button is not pressed within 10 seconds,
it will exit the Feature selection. Some of the features are available for selected models
only.

Features Remarks
SLEEP ( ) Available in COOL, HEAT and AUTO mode only.
Set temperature automatically adjust to eco-friendly level.
ECO+ ( ) Available in COOL and HEAT mode only.
If user presses the FAN button or QUIET button or turn off
POWERFUL ( ) the unit, the POWERFUL will be disabled. Available in COOL
and HEAT mode for selected models.
If user presses the FAN button or POWERFUL button or
QUIET ( ) turn off the unit, the QUIET feature will be disabled. Available
in COOL and HEAT mode for selected models.

9. Button
– Press button continuously will toggle the fan speed in the following order:

! NOTE
– Fan setting is not available in DRY ( ) mode.
– FAN ( ) mode does not have Auto fan.

– Continuously press for 3 seconds to ON/OFF Key Lock function. Only f button can
be pressed during Key Lock activation.

10. SWING Button


– Press SWING button to turn ON/OFF the automatic air swing function.
– To distribute the air to a specific direction, press SWING button and wait until the louver
move to the desired direction and press the button once again to confirm.
Special Swing Mode selection (model dependent)
– Continuously press for 3 seconds to enter Special Swing Mode. ( ) will blink. Press and
button to toggle between , and . Press button for confirmation.

! NOTE
– Special Swing Mode will only be activated when SWING is ON.

11. VIEW
– Press VIEW button to turn ON the backlight.

INSTALLATION

! NOTE
Installation and maintenance should be performed by qualified persons who are familiar with
local code and regulation, and experienced with this type of appliance.

1. Accessories
The following accessories are included together with this manual. If any part is missing, contact
your dealer immediately.

2. Step-by-step guide
2.1 Remove upper case.
Insert a screwdriver in the recess of lower case to remove the upper case (2 points).

Upper case
Remote controller printed-circuit
board is installed on the upper case. Screwdriver
Be careful not to damage the printed-
circuit board with the screwdriver.
Lower case

Be careful not to let dust or moisture Insert and twist the screwdriver
touch the printed-circuit board. 'LIGHTLY' for removal.

2.2 Location where the wiring will enter the remote controller.
Top center outlet

Cut the plastic at the notched area and


remove any remaining burrs.
2.3 Installation procedure for the lower case.
When wiring the remote controller through the top center or rear access points, attachment
of the wire to the lower case is required before it is wall mounted. Closely follow the wiring
procedures.

! NOTE
• Install the control on a flat surface only.
• To prevent deformation of the lower case, avoid over-tightening the installation
screws.

2.4 Install the upper case.


• Align the upper case with tabs of the lower case (6 points), insert and install the
upper case.
• Install the wiring with care to prevent pinching.
• Peel off the protective membrance which overlays the upper case.
