FLIGHT OPS TRAINING

Instructions for CA42 (CBTA) Grading


1. Limits: Altitude +/- 100 feet, Speed +/- 10 kts, Speed on approach + 10 kt/ - 0 kt.
2. Trainer conducting the check shall be current including requirements stated in
CAR Section 7 Series I Part I/II.
3. Date shall be in DD/MM/YYYY format
4. Routing - Provide ICAO codes
5. Seat - LHS/RHS
6. Trainer & Trainee names must be as per license
7. Type of check - Annual Line (ALC), PIC, SLF Release, Line Release, Route
Clearance, Other (Provide details)
8. Take-off/Landing – Enter UTC time from ACARS
9. Day/Night must be based on landing time and type of route (45m for PIC, 30 mins
otherwise)
10. Remarks are mandatory for grades 1, 2, 4 or 5. Overall instructor remarks shall
capture reasons for unsatisfactory performance (score of 1).
11. Minimum information required under remarks are OB number as per para 5.1
and sub-task as per para 5.4 (CAR 7-B-XX). This is provided as a ready reference
in this document.
12. P2s shall be given takeoff/landing, conditions permitting.
13. Final assessment will be based on the least of the grades awarded above. Do not
modify this section.
