IRDA certification & AGENT system (Insurance BO) linked to CRM Next
1) How do I apply for IRDA certification / which applications are being used ?
Ans: The user ID of the candidate who needs to apply for IRDA certification (candidate) needs
to create user id as “Branch Maker” and his approver / mentor / BM / supervisor / TL is
required to create user id as “Branch Checker” through iSAC system. Post creating Ids ,branch
maker (candidate) will apply through AGENT system which is linked to CRM Next and branch
checker will approve his details and documents uploaded by him.
Further note UserIDs are your employee codes / AD IDs .
2) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Employee code not found in Database” while
logging in the AGENT system
Ans: Candidate needs to place request In ISAC for creation of ID with the application
name-“Insurance BO”. It is possible that the application name selected in incorrect e.g. “winsoft”
etc
3) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Exception Occurred unsuccessful logged in due to
User Dormant”
Ans: Candidate needs to place request in the ISAC to "Enable" with the application name -
Insurance BO. Once the request is approved advise candidate to login on the same day. In case
the candidate is not logging in the system on the same day, it may get disabled automatically
again.
4) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Invalid login or Password”
Ans: Candidate to place "Unlock" request in ISAC with the application name - Insurance BO
5) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Internal system error. contact Administrator”
Ans: When such error occurs Candidate have to open the "Save as draft request" delete
documents uploaded earlier and re-upload the same. After re-uploading proceed further.
6) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Street name is mandatory”
Ans : The address field has been made editable in the system. Ask the candidate to update all
address and contact details fields and input the values in the blank fields.
7) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Unable to Select Exam Centre Name”
Ans : Candidate has the option to select the exam centre manually, if the candidate wish to
change the default centre updated basis the address. He has to click on the side button of the
exam centre tab and select / update.
8) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Documents / requests are not reflecting in
Checker’s ID”
Ans: Please check the status of the application in the branch maker ID. If it is showing as “Save as
Draft”, ask the maker to submit the requests then only it will reflect in Checker’s ID for
authorization. Checker will have to authorize the request within 7 days from the date branch
maker have submitted the request. Failing of which, the request will get removed from checker’s
ID and the status is again changed to “Save as Draft”. In such case maker will have to submit the
request again.
9) What do we do if we have created user ID creation in ISAC
Ans : In case the user id is created in insurance BO with incorrect template name (e.g. Branch
Checker instead of Branch maker), candidate should place “Modify “ request in ISAC selecting
application name Insurance BO and change the template. Do not place “Delete” request in ISAC
for this purpose
10) What do I do if I am getting the Error – “Name from CBS is mandatory “
Ans : While applying in AGENT system, candidate needs to enter Custid / UCIC basis which all
basic details of name , address and contact details are fetched from Core Banking System(CBS) .
However after entering custid / UCIC , please click “Go” button , only then these details will be
fetched from CBS.
11) What do I do if I am getting the Error - “ You can not apply for new request for IRDA
certification as you have already applied …”
Ans : Candidate needs to open the request saved in draft or modify the existing one and do not
try to create new request.
12) What do I do if I am getting the Error - “Branch name can not be blank"
Ans : This error is being faced by those employees whose incorrect employee code & AD ID
details have been provided to update the AGENT system. Ops jointly with business team are
working on the issue to update the correct employee codes / AD IDs , post which the candidate
will be able to submit the request successfully .
13) What are the important things for accessing Online training III – IC38
Ans: Refer to the note “IRDA certification Online training” attached for ready reference.
14) How do I reschedule my Training since the validity of my earlier Training Completion
Certificate (TCC) has expired
Ans : The initial training (Fresh as well as Renewal) is arranged by Bank and the payment of
fees for training is paid by bank. Within the stipulated period of the training is not completed,
the same needs to be rescheduled by making another payment of fees to III. Please refer to
the note “Training reschedule single entry“ attached for ready reference.
15) How do I reschedule my Renewal Training and make payment directly
Ans : The initial training (Fresh as well as Renewal) is arranged by Bank and the payment of
fees for training is paid by bank. Within the stipulated period of the training is not completed,
the same needs to be rescheduled by making another payment of fees to III. Please refer to
the note “Renewal training payment process “ attached for ready reference.
16) Need to know the details of the AGENT system and workflow to apply for IRDA certification

17) What are documents I need to carry while going to attend the exam on exam centre
Ans : Candidate need to carry – Hall Ticket , Original ID proof and Coronavirus self-declaration

18) How do I transfer my existing IRDA certification license to HDFC bank , since I have now
joined HDFC bank – NOC process
Ans : Candidate will be required to obtain NOC (No Objection Certificate) from ex-employer
and ensure that the ex-employer deactivates / cancels his license / certification linked to their
organisation on IRDA portal. The NOC and relevant details (employee code, URN, SP number
etc) are required to be submitted with HDFC bank. Important to note – that until the ex-
employer cancels the license on IRDA portal , Bank Ops team will not be able to transfer the
license.
19) My ex-employer has not issued NOC , how do I handle this
. Ans : The request letter in the prescribed format is required to be submitted to ex-employer
requesting for NOC. Even after 30 days from the date of request letter, if the ex-employer
fails to issue NOC , the same request letter will be considered as NOC. Please refer to the note

20) How to find the rejection reason of IRDA AGENT system (IRDA Certification workflow).
