Course Description:
This course provides students with the fundamental concepts of financial management
including planning, control, and decision-making. It equips students with the knowledge
and analytical skills to manage financial resources in an organization—particularly how
financial decisions align with business strategies in the digital economy.

Program Outcomes (POs)

Graduates of the BS Information System program should be able to:


1. Apply knowledge of business and computing appropriate to the discipline.
2. Analyze a problem and identify and define the computing and business requirements
appropriate to its solution.
3. Design, implement, and evaluate information systems based on user requirements.
4. Communicate effectively and function well on teams to accomplish a common goal.
5. Recognize the legal, ethical, social, and professional issues involved in the use of
information systems.

Course Outcomes (COs)

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:


1. Explain the fundamental concepts and objectives of financial management.
2. Analyze financial statements and evaluate financial performance using appropriate tools.
3. Apply financial techniques in making business decisions related to investment, financing,
and budgeting.
