 Carbon Footprint: The total amount of greenhouse gases (like carbon
dioxide) released into the atmosphere by a person, family, or activity.
 Climate Change: A significant and lasting change in the statistical
distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to
millions of years.
 Impact: The strong e ect that something has on a situation or person.
 Resources: Materials or substances such as minerals, forests, water,
and fertile land that occur in nature and can be used for economic gain.
