NOTICE:
In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference
values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

HINT:
Using the Data List displayed by the GTS, you can read the values of the switches, sensors, actuators and so on without parts
removal. Reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening labor time.

a. Warm up the engine.

b. Turn the engine switch off.

c. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

d. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

e. Turn the GTS on.

f. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / A/T / Data List.

g. In accordance with the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

ACTIVE TEST

HINT:
Performing the Active Test using the GTS allows the relay, VSV, actuator and so on to operate without parts removal.
Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one method to shorten labor time.
It is possible to display the Data List during the Active Test.

a. Warm up the engine.

b. Turn the engine switch off.

c. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

d. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

e. Turn the GTS on.

f. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / A/T / Active Test.
