My name is Sagni Olani Duresso. I read job vacancy posted by your organization for the
position Finance Team Leader at Fanajobs.com that posted on 19th June 2025. I have
educational and experience background that fits the position. I studied Masters (MBA) degree
in banking and finance at Wollega University from 2014-2016 and Bachelor of Art (BA)
degree in Accounting at Adama University from 2006-2008.

I worked as Project finance & admin in SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia Jimma Program of
Nekemte Edu-Care Project from 12 December 2022 to 31 December 2024. I also worked as
Project Accountant of Orormia Forested Landscape program of Nekemte Cluster from 10
November 2020 to 11 December 2022. In addition, I have more years finance and admin
related experience that you may refer from my CV that attached with this application.

The reason why I highly motivated to apply on the position is my previous organization (SOS
Children’s Villages Program Jimma Nekemte Edu-Care Project) ended its four (4) years
project life period and closed on 31 December 2024. That means, currently I have no work.

Specifically, the experience I obtained from the organization will help me to contribute my
share in achieving your organizational goal through the position posted by your organization.
Additionally, I have computer skills such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, PPT, Micro Soft 365,
Peachtree accounting soft were, integrated budget and expenditure system (IBEX), outlook

4. My Research Study Background: I conducted studies in both my first degree (undergraduate

study) and master’s degree (Postgraduate) on different topic that offered me an important
experience in terms of finding or searching something that may hidden from another person.
Based on both of my degree study, I conducted research study as the following sequence.
a. At Undergraduate degree (first degree), I conducted my study on the Topic said that “Factors
Affecting Asset Management of Nathret Oil Factory” at the Case Study of Nathret Oil Factory and
b. At Post Graduate Degree (master’s degree), I conducted my study on the Topic said that “Factors
 affecting Tax Revenue collection Performance” the case of Nekemte Town Revenue Authority

6. Training Skills and its certification I offered in different times: I have taken different training
courses on different titles or topic that are more related with my education and work experience
background. I listed the type of training I have taken and certified as well as its issue date and the
organization provided me as the following.
a. I have taken training in basic computer training for 30 hrs., Microsoft Word for 24 hrs., Microsoft
Excel for 30 hrs. and Integrated budget and expenditure system (IBEX) for 84 hrs. I was certified
on September 12, 2010, by the Oromia Finance & Economic Development Bureau. Currently, I
am using teams and outlook for my day-to-day organizational activities.
b. I have taken Peach Tree Accounting Training and certified on 11 September 2016 from Fromsa
peach Tree Accounting Training Service.
c. I certified the certificate of Entrepreneurship Training Workshop that offered to me from August
24-29, 2015, by collaboration of Federal Micro & Small Enterprise Development Agency,
Ministry of Urban Development, Hosing & Construction, UNDP and the Government of Canada.
d. In addition, I certified on City Administration Accounts and Financial management System and
procedures from March 23 to April 01, 2009, by two collaborated organization of Oromia Finance
& Economic Development and German Technical Cooperation (GIZ).
e. I also certified COC level I- IV that issued 15 July 2017, 14 March 2019, 15 April 2022 and 08
August 2022 respectively by concerning organization.
f. Lastly, I certified from online training on the topic “Child Safeguarding in SOS Children’s
Villages” and BSAFE that issued to me on 08 March 2023 18 January,2024 from SOS Children’s
Villages and SOS Virtual Organization and UN respectively.
